In Lost Dreams the Four Were Bound

In Lost Dreams the Four Were Bound (Genean Chronicles Book 1) by [Bradley Blankenship, Jeff Brown, Kevin Miller]

In Lost Dreams the Four Were Bound is an imaginative dive into a richly created universe filled with incredible intrigue and intense conflict. Sometime in the near future, or in an alternate universe, an alien enemy seeks to wipe out the arrogant human race. The book has a science-fiction feel, but those who like adventure and suspense will feel right at home among the action-packed pages. The characters are well-thought out and seem to reach out to the audience through the pages. Several original species and races, each with their own unique character and attributes. For example, the taluvo who present animalistic features, and accordingly, behaviors. The author has also created original hierarchies, customs, and titles that gives the impression that the ancient species are, or could be, real. The format of the book is quite original with thought trains and robotic commands being emphasized to show urgency.

The book can enjoyed by most audiences, however, there is considerable swearing, violence, and content that is sexual in nature. Such content generally moves the plot and exposition so it is not unnecessary or inappropriate. The book does occasionally use repetitive wording and phrases that tend to interrupt the otherwise exceptional flow of the book. Additionally, the author does overwrite descriptions every now and then which can disengage the reader, but that occurrence is rare throughout the novel.

In Lost Dreams the Four Were Bound is a well-imagined dive into a science-fiction fantasy world in which the reader will be swept along with the riveting narrative. One will laugh, cry, and feel longing with the characters and at the same time ponder the deepest questions that transcend life. Themes such as love, loss, past, and future manifest in the book through the engaging plot and cast of characters. Readers are sure to love this book and come back to it again and again.
