  2. Thanks Michelle. Silent Freedom is indeed fascinating and thrilling to read, as it takes you to a journey of love, loss, and war. We made strides to freedom through ground assault convoy during the war, not knowing we’ll make it through, and the taste of freedom was great when we finally reached the first free country. It was victory! Thank you for a forthright review. Keep the faith.

  5. Thanks Mr. Kim. Silent Freedom, A Memoir of Service with the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault in Iraq is a terrific read indeed and I hope your family enjoys reading it. Silent Freedom relates to a story of service in combat from a woman and a mother’s point of view. Usually, we see a father leaving his young children to his wife. In my case, I was the one who deployed, and it tore my heart to leave my young son behind, uncertain whether I will see him again or not. It was a heart-rending deployment, but I had to go and fight the war. Leaving a young child behind was like leaving my soldiers at war. I was given two choices after I have completed my first mission. It was a tough one, but I sought Divine’s guidance, and what a trajectory, my miracles happened on the same day. I have learned that great things happen to those who hold onto their faith. Keep the faith and hope that we will have a better future.

  6. Thank you, Lucy. It’s a great honor to share my personal experiences and what our soldiers went through during Operation Iraqi Freedom in four parts. They proved their mettle at war and helped preserve freedom. They are all reconstructed in this memoir that’s meant to inspire readers for an unfiltered yet hopeful account of life both before, during, and after deployment to Iraq. The saying, ‘Where there is Hope, there is Faith, and where there is Faith, Miracles happen’ is real. I have captured them in my book. Hold onto your faith and hope, and feel the joy of a better future.
