The Andrew Jackson Defense follows Josh “Badger” Chaffin, a rehabilitated lifer who seeks clemency by refraining his own past through the turbulent life of President Andrew Jackson—a man who would’ve faced multiple life sentences today. Moving between modern prison life and vivid historical reenactments, the story becomes a sharp meditation on justice and redemption.
