A Void In Transparency
Posted by Literary Titan

The Invisible Soul Anthology is a deeply personal Christian memoir that brings together stories, reflections, memories, and poems exploring trauma, faith, family, grief, mental health, and healing. Why was this an important book for you to write?
I sense a void in transparency when it comes to topics like trauma, mental health and especially suicide. This started out as a journey to find clues to my own healing and ended up being a book for others to ponder and find the same clues. They all lead to the same place and hopefully that’s healing.
The book presents faith and professional therapy as complementary parts of healing. Why was it important to you to show that relationship?
I have tried to the extreme on both spectrums. Faith, you are healed, they would say, therapy, here’s how, do it, they would say but in the end a balance wins, it’s both faith and a trusted therapist to find the common ground to grow on. A caution to all those, not every therapist or counselor is a fit for you. You will know before the first session is over. A good therapist will be honest and tell you, you’re not a good fit for me.
The book explores suicidal thoughts and other difficult aspects of mental health with considerable openness. What do you hope readers struggling silently will take from your willingness to share these experiences?
Seek help! I was on the brink of taking my own life. That’s where the faith comes in and asking God to lead just the right person to help you. Silence will take your life but words spoken will save your life. I spoke and a trusted friend aka therapist listened. In the end, get someone to listen and make sure they respond. If they don’t respond they weren’t listening. Move to the next one.
If readers remember only one message from The Invisible Soul Anthology, what would you want that message to be?
Hope! There is hope for all of us in the struggle. It’s so real and I want to save everyone in it but the reality is I can’t. Don’t give up! This world need you and your story matters to the next one.

The Invisible Soul Anthology is the culmination of those digital footsteps brought into the physical reality of healing. Words are the reality that brings healing to every soul.
The phrase “The Invisible Soul” represents the parts of the human experience we so often hide from the world. It is the quiet resilience that keeps us moving forward when we are drowning in silent doubt, fear, or grief. For a long time, I wore a mask, hiding the unseen forces and internal whispers that dictated my choices and actions. Writing became my only tool for survival and self-exploration.
By pulling these stories from the archives of my library and organizing them into this anthology, I invite you to see what was once hidden in the shadows. Each story is a way-point on a long road toward emotional healing, raw truth, and ultimate redemption.
This anthology does not follow a straight, clinical timeline. Instead, it mirrors the natural ebb and flow of life itself. You will find:
The Whispers: Early reflections dealing with internal conflicts, unvoiced fears, and the heavy weight of expectations.
The Crossroads: Turning points where choices had to be made, masks had to be dropped, and truth had to be faced.
The Light: Stories of survival, spiritual grounding, and the quiet triumph of the human spirit over adversity.
You may choose to read this book from cover to cover, or you may open it to a random page whenever your own soul feels a bit too invisible to the rest of the world.
What started as personal therapy was never just about me. It was about finding a universal language for the invisible battles we all fight. By sharing my journey, my deepest hope is that you find pieces of your own story hidden within these pages.
Thank you for stepping off the digital screen and walking alongside me on this path. Welcome to The Invisible Soul Anthology. Healing With Words.
