What Faith Can Do
Posted by Literary Titan

Don’t Tell Me There Ain’t No God recounts your journey from a turbulent childhood of poverty and trauma to a life transformed by faith and perseverance, offering an inspiring testament. Why was this an important book for you to write?
It helped me to overcome my survivor’s guilt by understanding why God spared my life so many times and brought me through so much tribulation. It answered the burning question why? Because I believe that God wanted me to be a living testimony of what faith can do in a person’s life and how it can inspire others to preserve against all odds. The book is my testimony.
What was the most challenging chapter for you to write, and why?
The most challenging chapter to write was “Curse The Sky”. Why, because I had to relive it in order to write it, including all the flashbacks of what my father did to me and my mother coupled with what a member of the church did to me, and finally cursing God. Even now as I write this tears are in my eyes because I’m reliving it once again…
What were some themes that were important for you to explore in this book?
The contrast between what my life was like before faith and what my life became after faith.
What advice would you give to someone grappling with their own faith journey while dealing with personal trauma?
No matter what you may be going through in your life; no matter what the burden; it can be overcome by faith in Jesus Christ. It is Written; All things work for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. I believe this to be true and my life is my proof…
