The Grass May Not Be Greener
Posted by Literary Titan

This sweet little picture book tells the story of a bunny who’s fed up with being himself. He complains to a fairy that life as a bunny is dull and tough, so she grants his wish to become different animals for a day. He becomes a bee, an elephant, a snake, and a fish. Each adventure starts with excitement and ends in disappointment as the bunny learns that every creature has its own problems. By the end, he realizes he’s happiest being himself. The book wraps up with a moral about self-acceptance and a fun page of bunny facts for curious young readers.
I have to say, I loved the rhythm and rhyme of the writing. It’s bouncy and easy to read aloud, which makes it perfect for bedtime or storytime. The bunny’s personality really comes through. He’s grumpy, curious, and kind of dramatic in a funny way. Each transformation feels like its own little mini-story, and I found myself smiling at how relatable it all was. The fairy’s gentle patience balances Bunny’s constant complaining nicely, and the message about gratitude feels earned rather than preachy.
The illustrations are just gorgeous. Bright, warm, and full of life. The charming illustrations are delightful and perfectly convey the story’s humor. The warm colors and endearing art style create a rich, engaging world that invites young readers to pore over the details and discover a new, funny antic with every look. It’s a story that doesn’t just entertain kids but nudges adults too, reminding us all to stop comparing our lives to others. It hits that sweet spot of being simple enough for children and thoughtful enough for grown-ups to appreciate.
I’d recommend The Grass May Not Be Greener to parents, teachers, and anyone looking for a cheerful yet meaningful story to share with children. It’s especially good for kids who might struggle with confidence or envy. The writing is playful, the pictures are wonderful, and the lesson lands softly. It’s one of those books that makes you smile and think.

A Happy and Uplifting Character
Posted by Literary-Titan

Gigglet, The Happy Little Piglet Goes To The Beach, follows an energetic piglet on an adventure exploring the beach. What inspired your story?
I love everything about the beach and Maui happens to be my favorite island with some of the most magnificent beaches in all the world. When the Maui fires befell this beautiful island and caused such devastation, I felt this book come to life with every fiber of my being. I knew immediately that my sweet little Gigglet would be on my favorite beach in Maui ‘getting her giggle on’ and living her best life. Thus my book’s dedication “To the forever beauty of Maui, my island of inspiration”. Gigglet is such a happy and uplifting character that even on the worst of days, it’s hard not to smile when looking at her, reading about her adventures, or even just having a casual conversation about her being the happiest little piglet in all the land.” Maui will always be beautiful and will always be a symbol of hope, strength, and love.
Gigglet has a wonderful time exploring all the different things at the beach. What is one of your favorite memories of going to the beach, either as a child or as an adult?
I didn’t get to see my first beach until I was 15 years old when my family moved to South TX near South Padre Island. I will never forget that day…The sound of the ocean waves crashing along the shoreline, the warm sand and crushed seashells under my feet, the flocks of seagulls hovering above in search of food, and the sounds of families laughing, splashing, and playing in the water. Everything about that day was magical, exhilarating, and unlike anything I had ever experienced. The beach is the perfect place for me to lose my mind and find my soul.
What is the most valuable piece of advice you’ve been given about writing?
Always write 100% from your heart and follow your gut. Don’t listen to naysayers. Don’t force anything. Writing should always be about ease, flow, and allowing.
Where is Gigglet off to next, and when will that story be available?
I’m so excited to share the third children’s picture book in the Gigglet series! Our giggly little piglet is off to summer camp to have a fun adventure with two of her best pals Dandy and Waddles. They enjoy summer camp to its fullest embracing the fun and activities that wait around every corner! Gigglet The Happy Little Piglet Goes to Summer Camp is available now in hardback and ebook and also has an activity/coloring book that can be purchased as a companion to the book. All three books can be purchased on Amazon.
The Gigglet series can also be accessed via my new website.

New Hopes and Dreams
Posted by Literary-Titan
Little Melvin… The Pig That Could Eat the World follows a young pig living on a farm whose hunger gets out of control, sending him on an out-of-this-world adventure. What were some educational aspects that were important for you to include in this children’s book?
Anyone (even a cute little pig) can break free from his/her confines in search of new hopes and dreams and adventure!
Also, not everyone has visited a farm, particularly younger children, and this book may give them an early view of how a farm can look.
What were some goals you set for yourself as a writer in this book?
To successfully create an enjoyable picture book that could be enjoyed between parents and young children during reading times together.
I was also hopeful that the book could attract the interest of a traditional publisher or literary agent.
Is this the first book in the series? If so, when is the next book coming out, and what can your fans expect in the next story?
There may be another Little Melvin coming to market. If so, I envision him returning to Earth to share his adventures from outer space where he learned important ways, on other planets, to improve our planet (instead of devouring it)!

But Melvin’s simple, everyday world is about to change forever.
Melvin’s deep love for his farmers delicious food takes over, and his need for more food leads him to a place he could never have imagined!
You might say that Melvin’s new adventure is truly, “out of this world”!
