A Hundred Honeymoons follows two small-town teenagers that want to experience life and the complex relationship between them. What was the inspiration for the setup to your story?

I’ve know all the main characters (not names) in the book so I know it’s pretty close to the bone. Also the town is real in every detail and the scenes in Vietnam are as close as I could come to the truth from first hand accounts I got from people who where there and I trust.

Sally and Todd go through dramatic growth through this novel. What were some driving ideals behind your character’s development?

Todd and Sally found it impossible to separate there real love from there carnal wants. The more they got, the more they wanted. As they matured this trend became an aphasiac they couldn’t control. Very common in us all, I’ve found.

What were some themes that were important for you to explore in this book?

The themes of my book were to describe how hard it is for young people to grow up with there driving hormones being exploited by adults. I wanted to go as far as was possible in describing that challenge. I had to remove a few episodes my publisher said went to far. Carnal knowledge drives the lives of lots of young people yet they come out okay in the end.

What is the next book that you are working on and when will it be available?

I haven’t started my new book yet. I’m still gathering material.

Women are predators too, only the prey is different” – A.J. Strindberg

A Hundred Honeymoons’ storyline develops like a carnally driven small town soap opera revolving around two innocent teenagers, Todd and Sally. Drenched in hormonal confusion, Todd’s teenage adventures offer a good number of relatable moments for the reader to quip, “Yeah, I remember feeling like that.” While Sally’s journey takes her from naive cheerleader to a mature woman. Exploitive and corrupt characters woven throughout, it is a story premeditated with carnal adventures, broken hearts, and true love.

Can these infatuated, yet durable teenagers, survive and prove, love does conquer all?
