Edge of Tomorrow
Posted by Literary Titan

In an ambitious tale of discovery, Lyle D. Westbrook’s novel, Edge of Tomorrow, introduces us to Nathan Masterton and his intelligent and talkative canine companion, Duke. They embark on an action-packed race against time after being contacted by an old friend. With an evil organization working in the shadows to erode human freedoms, and natural events threatening mankind’s existence, Nathan and Duke assemble a team for an expedition which will see them battle crime lords and malevolent entities as they piece together ancient clues to unlock the forgotten secrets of humanity’s past to ensure its future.
Westbrook’s novel demonstrates an impressive amount of creativity in its worldbuilding and how it links together a diverse array of mythologies and religions. The author also lays the groundwork for a fun adventure with a lot of potential for exciting discussion concerning the origins of humanity and the nature of good and evil, as Nathan and Duke come face to face with various characters who make them question everything they have known.
Edge of Tomorrow has a packed narrative with a range of characters that readers will surely love. The leading characters did blend in a little with all of the characters in the story, but I still wanted to know more about them and what would happen. The strength of Westbrook’s novel lies in its sense of adventure and is what keeps the reader hooked. There are a lot of characters and subplots worked into this exciting novel. It will take readers on a whirlwind adventure as they try and follow the different directions the story takes, but Westbook does it in a way that is not overwhelming, just exciting.
Edge of Tomorrow is a riveting mystery about the origins of mankind that’s explored through the thrilling adventure that the characters embark on to discover the answers. Readers will find the action and drama captivating and will be hooked through the end.
