While the locale and characters are fictional, many of the events in “Time In A Bottle” are biographical. Pulling from his own life experiences, Steve Young explores the human relationships which begin in childhood and often become lifelong. The novel is a chronicle of the adventures and misadventures of five small town kids – “The Pirates of Pleasant Point” – and how those childhood friendships lead to bitter sweet secrets buried in bottles and ultimately the rediscovery of a relationship thought lost forever.
