These changes aren’t ornamental. They communicate how consciousness reshapes experience, and they allow Harris’s internal conflict to become physically visible. The three toys provide humor and friction, but their exaggerated personalities also function as parts of Harris’s divided psyche, confronting his arrogance, loneliness, fear of death, and neglected relationships. The volume grows increasingly surreal without losing its human center.

The narrative is ambitious, energetic, and emotionally direct, though its rapid movement between realities sometimes compresses supporting characters and leaves parts of its cosmology deliberately unsettled.
