Benny Baseball Goes to Bat
Posted by Literary Titan
“From the author of The Fuzzy White Pup comes a delightful story about a baseball who finds a home, and soon learns the value of patience.” – Ellen Sallas, Ed. Dir. Little Roni Publishers
Benny is a brand-new baseball who finds a home with a boy named Sam. Benny finds it marvelous to collide with a bat, sail through the air, and land in a glove, and he looks forward to daily trips to the ballpark with Sam.
Trouble arises when one morning, Sam does not take Benny out of the closet where the sports equipment is stored. Instead, he takes out Freddie Football. What is this?!
Time goes on, and still, Benny sits in the dark while Sam chooses next Bobby Basketball, and another long wait is upon him.
Just when Benny thinks he will never be played with again, Sam scoops him up, grabs his bat and glove, and they head outside to play.Benny learns there is a time for everything… even for baseball.
