When nature photographer and former journalist Layla Devereaux travels to a remote island, she finds it haunted by ghosts. Originally there to solve the mystery of a lighthouse tour guide’s murder and free her wrongly accused brother, Layla soon realizes she faces greater dangers than imagined. She turns to local businessman Colton Harding, who tries saving the struggling island community, for help.
