Confidence Transformation
Posted by Literary-Titan

Girl Game: Balls Out is a blend of memoir, psychology, and empowerment, and is a call for women to reclaim their power, stop people-pleasing, and rise unapologetically into their full selves. Why was this an important book for you to write?
In love, I was always had an anxious attachment style, and I genuinely felt like something was medically wrong with me. My insecurities always got the best of me, and I grew up without any confidence or self-esteem. Rejection was my middle name. I was unlucky in love. I had to get to the bottom of this, so I spent 5 years intensively studying attachment theory and childhood emotional neglect, and boy, did my findings revolutionize my life as I know it. That research and my own confidence transformation were the catalyst and backbone of this work.
In Chapter Six, “The Fight of Your Life,” you write about internal battles. How do you personally recognize when you’re in one?
By how I am feeling. All internal states are attached to a feeling, and all feelings are trying to tell us something vital about ourselves.
What do you hope women take away from your message when they’re standing at their own
breaking point?
That they heal “balls out” style. Many people sit in a therapist’s office for years and take medication for decades hoping to numb the pain, but they never really heal HEAD ON. I encourage radical healing through awareness and consciousness, and that requires a full-blown, balls-out exploration of the shadow, or what I call an emotional exorcism, in this book.
You mix faith, psychology, and empowerment in a unique way. How do those three forces coexist in your own healing process?
I am a spiritual person. I do blend faith, spirituality, psychology, and empowerment because of my background in all 3. I refuse to take pills. I don’t go to therapy (but I am a huge fan of it) – I champion healing by facing problems head-on and feeling them fully until healed.

With over 100 years of research behind it in human psychology, emotion, healing, attachment and relationships, self-worth and identity, this book provides profound insights concerning the realities that shape our existence when we struggle with low self-esteem. Since our subconscious accepts all suggestions as facts, we are met with demons we didn’t create who plague us as mirrors impacting our closest relationships while making rejection become the norm. This happens because of generational trauma passed down from ancestors and the general negativity felt and experienced in the external world. By embracing self-worth from within, the book emphasizes the transformative power it holds in reshaping personal connections and attracting genuine affection. The text prompts introspection on questions of rejection, societal constraints, and the impact of insecurity on personal growth and fulfillment. Encouraging a shift from seeking external validation to embracing inner worth, GIRL GAME: BALLS OUT advocates for empowerment and taking control of one’s narrative. By fostering self-belief and authenticity, individuals can transcend self-doubt, radiate confidence, and magnetize positive interactions.
You can either overcome or come undone… the POWER is yours.
Are you hiding behind that pretty face…

True Empowerment

Girl Grit: Savage Not Average is a blazing manifesto that exposes the wounds society inflicts on women and rebuilds them into fierce, unshakable self-worth. What moment or experience first sparked the fire that became Girl Grit?
In August of 2022, I was on vacation in Florida, swimming in a pool by myself, when the idea very suddenly hit me all at once. I came home, put pen to paper, and finished my first book GIRL GRIT: SAVAGE NOT AVERAGE in 5 months.
You write with such raw honesty. Were there parts of your story that were hardest to include or share publicly?
Yes and no. I am a mask-off author. True to my nature, I believe in authenticity and the realness of life. The good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s time we are hit with the truth as a society instead of sweeping real problems under the rug while wearing the façade of our ancestors. We will grow and evolve as a society when we face our problems head-on. As an author, I was never going to transform someone’s life overnight by writing about candy canes and gumdrops; I was going to do it through raw honesty, authenticity, and vulnerability were necessary.
The book moves from pain to power. How did you decide where to draw the line between vulnerability and empowerment?
Vulnerability and empowerment go hand in hand. You cannot access one without the other. Willing to be vulnerable is where true empowerment lies. We diminish our empowerment when we hide behind facades, suppress emotions, and refuse to solve problems head-on. People also usually go the route of drinking, drugs, or other addictions. I wasn’t about to go down those dark paths; I was going to take pain and truly turn it into power in an authentic and meaningful way.
If readers take only one message from Girl Grit, what do you hope it is?
Don’t be afraid of what anyone else thinks of you. Live your life authentically and heal others by refusing to put on the show of being perfect and infallible.

Subject to Interpretation
Posted by Literary-Titan

Girl Glow: Titan of Transformation is a fierce, no-filter manifesto for women ready to reclaim their power, shed their masks, and step into unapologetic self-worth. What inspired you to abandon the traditional tone of self-help books and write something this fiery?
There is no rule book for writing or self-help. My motto as an author has always been “I just want to write something f*cking real.” People need real. They need honest. They need the truth, and I am not afraid to deliver it to them.
If Girl Glow were a conversation with your younger self, what’s the one truth you’d want her to believe?
- Do not accept every suggestion as truth. All stories are subject to interpretation.
- Being a hard-core BITCH is much better than being a “nice girl.” I was told to be nice, polite, and kind, and all it did was get me “walked all over.”
- No one is coming to save you – your savior exists inside of you right now.
What were some ideas that were important for you to explore in this book?
I am into spirituality and power, so I wrote a book combining both concepts.
The book feels like both a challenge and a celebration. How do you want women to feel when they finish the last page?
I do not want to impose my wishes on women. The content will impact them the way it will impact them without my direct influence.

GIRL GLOW: TITAN OF TRANSFORMATION
Posted by Literary Titan

I’ve read a lot of self-help books, and honestly, most of them start to sound the same after a while. Calm advice, predictable structure, and a polite tone that makes me feel like I’m in a corporate workshop. Girl Glow: Titan of Transformation is nothing like that. Dr. Alexandra Elinsky throws subtlety out the window. This book is loud, fiery, and almost rebellious in its honesty. She talks about power, self-worth, spirituality, and womanhood in a way that feels more like a late-night heart-to-heart with your boldest friend than a formal lecture. Each chapter pushes you to stop waiting for permission and start taking up space.
What I loved most is how different it feels from the usual “love yourself” fluff. Elinsky doesn’t hold your hand or soften her words. She tells it straight: the world conditions women to play small, and it’s time to stop doing that. Her voice is big and unapologetic, and at times it almost feels like she’s talking directly to you. I found myself nodding, laughing, and sometimes rolling my eyes, but never bored. There’s something refreshing about her confidence. She mixes psychology, spirituality, and straight-up attitude into one wild ride.
Chapter 7, Are You Hiding Behind That Pretty Face, hit me harder than I expected. I’ve read plenty of self-help takes on confidence, but this one felt personal. Elinsky digs into the idea that women often use appearance as armor, smiles, style, and politeness to hide pain or self-doubt, and that called me out in the best way. The way she writes about peeling back those layers, about letting people see your real power instead of your mask, made me stop and think.
By the end, I felt strangely energized. The book isn’t calm or balanced, it’s electric. It’s not trying to soothe you, it’s trying to ignite you. Compared to other self-help voices, Elinsky is more like Jen Sincero (You Are a Badass) if Jen had a PhD and an even sharper edge, or maybe like Mel Robbins but with more sass and less filter. If you’re tired of the same polished advice about journaling and gratitude lists, and you want something with real bite, Girl Glow: Titan of Transformation will jolt you awake in the best way.

GIRL GAME: BALLS OUT
Posted by Literary Titan

Dr. Alexandra Elinsky’s Girl Game: Balls Out is a raw, fearless, and deeply personal exploration of female empowerment and emotional rebirth. The book blends psychology, self-help, and memoir in a way that feels like both a sermon and a conversation with a brutally honest friend. It unpacks the weight of female conditioning, our people-pleasing habits, the shame of self-doubt, the quiet suffering of women who forget their own power. Through stories, coaching insights, and bold declarations, Elinsky challenges readers to stop hiding, to grow metaphorical “balls,” and to live with unapologetic confidence. Her central message is clear: healing and ascension start when we stop shrinking.
The writing felt personal and passionate. Elinsky doesn’t just give advice; she hands you her own pain and shows what she built from it. Her words about emotional neglect, self-abandonment, and the ways women are conditioned to serve everyone but themselves resonated with me. She writes like she’s fighting for you. The mix of faith, psychology, and blunt empowerment talk was strange for me at first, but it works.
At times, her confidence borders on defiance, and that can be polarizing. There’s an energy behind every page, sometimes chaotic, sometimes tender, that makes it impossible to stay passive while reading. I liked that it wasn’t polished in a corporate, self-help way. It’s messy and real, like healing usually is. You can feel the heart behind every sentence.
I personally liked Chapter Six, The Fight of Your Life, because it feels like the emotional center of Balls Out. It’s fierce, heartfelt, and painfully honest. In it, Dr. Elinsky dives deep into the internal battles women face, the war between self-worth and self-doubt, between the desire to please others and the need to finally please ourselves. She writes about pain like it’s a sparring partner, not an enemy, showing how struggle shapes strength. I could feel her voice pushing me to stand taller, to stop backing down from my own potential. The tone is part battle cry, part therapy session, reminding readers that the hardest fights are usually the ones happening inside us.
I walked away feeling both humbled and fired up. Girl Game: Balls Out isn’t for readers looking for a quiet, clinical take on empowerment. It’s for women who’ve been through the wringer, who are tired of pretending, and who want someone to shake them awake. It’s a guide, a confession, and a pep talk all rolled into one.
