Respecting Water
Posted by Literary_Titan

The Tralls of Mundi follows a group of tralls headed to the Coming Together celebration who, along the way, discover a dark and dangerous adventure that threatens the tralls’ future. What was the inspiration for the setup of your story?
Illegal damming of water sources is becoming an issue in Australia, especially in areas that have a lot of agriculture and limited water resources.
There are many reasons for this, some quite understandable, and in a vast country like Australia the situation is hard to monitor.
Unfortunately, however, Illegal dams can have a negatively impact on the environment and ecosystems.
They can lead to habitat destruction, degrade water quality, negatively impact aquatic life and cause health risks for humans through contaminated water.
I wanted to make my young readers aware of these issues and hopefully encourage them to be respectful water users in the future.
Were there any characters that you especially enjoyed writing for?
Each book in The Tall Series is dedicated to two of my grandchildren. The two represented in “The Tralls of Mundi” are often complimented on their leadership, persistence, courage and resourcefulness so I was keen to highlight these traits in the main characters, Jete and Jak.
What was the inspiration for the culture of your characters? Is it modeled after any particular society?
There are two memories that are very special to me. The first was when I lived with my grandparents in Tasmania. We spent a lot of time traipsing through the bush and marvelling at the beautiful flora and fauna during the daytime and then at night, we’d read and re-enact the classics. Those memories are very dear to me and I tried to share them with my family and my readers through this series.
The second very precious memory is of the time we spent living on Badu Island in the Torres Strait.
The laid-back, happy, communal life-style of the islanders and the friendly way they included us in their lives had a strong impact on us and Badu and the friends we made there still mean the world to us.
My hope is that by threading that happy, peaceful ambience through my stories , I could impart the same feeling to others.
What is one thing that you hope readers take away from The Tralls of Mundi?
I hope “The Tralls of Mundi” engenders a deep respect in my readers for the environment and a desire to protect it. I also hope they learn the importance of all water resources and treat them with consideration and care.

When the terrified tralls discover that the village of Mundi and all its inhabitants have disappeared they are convinced the Chameleons have returned, and when they find that the mighty River Maire is now only a dried-up mudflat, those fears are strengthened.
Jete and Jak are determined to save their friends but what they find when they enter the Sacred Caves of Mundi leaves them so confused and horrified, they are no longer sure they can save the tralls of Mundi or even their own kinships.
The Tralls of Mundi is the second book in The Trall Series; a collection of environmentally based portal fantasies set in the Australian bush. It is recommended for readers 9 years to 13 years.

Demystify Wealth Building
Posted by Literary Titan

Beginner’s Guide to Growing Wealth and Investing is a metaphor-rich roadmap that teaches readers to cultivate long-term financial habits by becoming the intentional “CIO” of their own money. Why was this an important book for you to write?
Beginner’s Guide to Growing Wealth and Investing is important to me because of who inspired it. I wanted to leave an instructional manual for my little sister, my son, and my daughter, the kind of manual I wish I had at their age. My family, like most families, don’t have real conversations about money, investing, or wealth. They definitely don’t talk about the mindset, identity, and emotional strength it takes to build wealth consistently.
I wanted to demystify wealth building and pull back the curtain. People think the process is complicated or reserved for the rich, when the truth is that wealth is simple. It’s not always easy, but it is simple when you understand how money works and, more importantly, how you work. So I wrote a book that speaks to the whole person: their thoughts, emotions, habits, fears, and dreams. Those internal drivers matter just as much as the practical steps of investing.
Too often, financial books focus on what you have to do, while completely ignoring who you have to be. You can’t build wealth as a passive participant in your own life. You have to accept responsibility, step into leadership, and design your financial future with intention. That’s where the CIO metaphor comes in. Becoming the Chief Investment Officer of your life means recognizing that your decisions – not your income – build wealth, and that you need to run your financial life with the same intention and structure as a business.
And the gardening metaphor reminds readers that wealth is a process. It starts with small seeds, tiny decisions with huge potential, and when nurtured over time, those seeds grow and produce fruit season after season. I want people to stop believing that wealth is impossible and start believing “I’m possible.” Building wealth is ultimately about choosing yourself and choosing the life you want to design.
That’s why this book exists. It’s the manual I needed. And it’s the manual I want to leave behind for my loved ones and others.
How do you balance encouraging mindset shifts with giving readers practical, step-by-step financial tools?
When people talk about “balancing” mindset and financial tools, they’re already thinking about it the wrong way. Mindset and tools don’t sit on two sides of a scale, they depend on each other. You can’t build habits without the right beliefs, and you can’t direct your beliefs without the right structure. That’s the key, and honestly, that’s the difference between information that inspires people and information that transforms them. This is why I don’t separate them; I integrate them into one system.
That’s the real differentiator of my book. I’m not giving readers scattered tips, I’m giving them a system that reinforces the behavior change they need. I teach through metaphors and simple frameworks because they help readers understand complex shifts without feeling overwhelmed. Those frameworks create structure and when your financial life has structure, your decisions get clearer, your emotions settle, and consistency becomes easier. Most beginners don’t fail because they’re incapable; they fail because they don’t have a system protecting them from old habits while they grow into new ones.
That’s why the Stackers Wealth Cycle matters. Mindset shifts and tools don’t have to be balanced, they need to be woven into a system. When those are woven into one process, transformation becomes inevitable.
Were there any specific emotional hurdles you noticed beginners facing that shaped how you wrote the more supportive sections?
The biggest barriers for beginners start in the mind, and they come down to three forces: beliefs, desires, and expectations. To be successful, all three have to work together, so let’s use a heating and cooling system to explain it.
Beliefs are your heating and cooling equipment. If you don’t believe you can grow wealth, it’s like having a completely broken HVAC unit. You can want the room warmer or cooler all day, but equipment that doesn’t work can’t respond. A broken belief system blocks every financial upgrade.
Desire is your thermostat in that it allows you to set the temperature you want for your life. If you desire freedom, your behavior moves one way. If you desire approval or status, it moves another. But a thermostat only shows what you want, it doesn’t make the change by itself.
Expectations are the electricity powering the whole system. If you expect success, the system turns on. If you expect failure, nothing runs. That’s why two people with the same desires get completely different results, their expectations either activate the system or shut it down.
When belief (system), desire (thermostat), and expectation (power) line up, the system will reach the temperature you set. In people, that’s when behavior starts aligning almost automatically and wealth-building becomes possible instead of frustrating.
That’s why people tell me this book feels different and more supportive, it’s more than an investing manual. It’s a “how you work” manual. We aren’t born understanding our beliefs, desires, and expectations, and most of us are never taught how they connect. That’s why my approach leans so heavily into mindset and internal wiring. If you don’t understand the system on the inside, nothing you try on the outside will stick.
If readers could adopt only one habit from the book to start their financial journey, which would you choose and why?
If readers could adopt only one habit, I’d actually split it into two: one financial and one mindset, because they work together.
The financial habit is automating the process of paying yourself 10% first. And I’ll cheat a little by adding the monthly clean sweep into that. Most people spend whatever they see in their bank account. Automation protects you from yourself. It guarantees you’re saving for the future whether you feel disciplined or not. Think about it this way: the government takes their taxes first for a reason, you should too. And the clean sweep at the end of the month keeps your checking account from becoming a slush fund, subject to unconscious spending. The moment your next paycheck hits, you move the leftover dollars into savings so they can’t be spent. This one habit alone is life-changing.
The mindset habit is your beliefs. Beliefs determine everything, what you think is possible, what risks you take, and how consistently you follow through. You can’t blow an uncertain trumpet, and beliefs are what give your decisions clarity and conviction. Weak beliefs lead to weak behaviors. Strong beliefs lead to strong habits, actions, and results. Most people are held back by the belief that they can’t succeed. You have to replace that little voice inside you that tries to convince you that you can’t succeed. Change the belief, and everything else follows.

Unlike books that overwhelm you with jargon or push “get-rich-quick” schemes, this guide focuses on clarity, mindset, and simple systems that actually work.
You’ll learn through two powerful frameworks:
The CIO Mindset — step into the role of Chief Investment Officer of your life and start making decisions like a leader, not a follower.
The Gardener’s Path — discover how wealth grows like seeds planted with patience, intention, and care over time.
Together, these frameworks show you how to balance the psychology of money with the practical strategies of investing—without fear, confusion, or hype.
Inside, you’ll discover how to move from the Working Poor Cycle into the Stackers Wealth Cycle™, a simple system for growing your money automatically, aligned with your values and life goals.
Written with the voice of a coach, professor, and wise uncle rolled into one, Dr. Stacker breaks down complex ideas into clear, actionable steps that anyone can follow. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your strategy, this guide will help you:
Build confidence as an investor
Create systems that grow your wealth automatically
Align your money with your mission, vision, and values
Plant the seeds that grow into lifelong financial freedom
If you’ve ever thought, “I wish someone would just explain this in plain English,” this is that book.
Plant your seeds. Grow your riches. Build your legacy.

Looking At The Night Sky
Posted by Literary Titan

Moonlight Cruise: Murder and Magic follows a woman and her miracle-born daughter who are on the run from a Satanic cult that believes her daughter will grant them divine powers through a blood sacrifice. What was the inspiration for the setup of your story?
Actually Moonlight Cruise is a sequel to my previous book Moonlight Rocks which describes how the miracle-born daughter came to be through her mother’s interaction with a meteorite sent to Earth by God the creator. Meteors and meteorites have long been thought to be messengers from the divine and they feature in many different religions. Anyway, my inspiration came from looking at the night sky (I studied astronomy in college and spent many long dark nights watching the heavens) and seeing a bright meteor streak across that sky. Seeing that bright flash of light triggered a lot of my other obsessions with spirituality and various religions all of which inspired me to write the story.
What are some things that you find interesting about the human condition that you think make for great fiction?
Humans need more than just cold, hard objective reality. Regardless of how strong people think they are, I think that everyone experiences times in their life where they feel the need to pray or to otherwise reach out (sometimes just through a curse) to a divine power for help or for resolution of some situation. What’s happening when they reach that breaking point, who they pray to and what they pray for are key story points.
I felt that Moonlight Cruise delivers the drama so well that it flirts with the grimdark genre. Was it your intention to give the story a darker tone?
The story of good versus evil always carries a darker element so truthfully I had to remain vigilant with my writing to keep things from getting too dark. That is why editing is so important – I let everything flow out, then go back and try to weed out the darkest, scary parts thus saving the more sensitive readers from an excess of horror.
I hope the series continues in other books. If so, where will the story take readers?
Since the Ocean Star sails around the world, the next book in the series takes place in Asia where the story continues with the characters we love while introducing some new friends from my Games series too.

On the tranquil waters of a luxury cruise ship, Jessica Ascher and her miracle-born daughter Zamzam try to outrun the darkness. But a Satanic cult—rooted in the Mojave Desert and connected to the highest levels of power—is hunting them. They’ve already murdered countless women named Jessica and boys named David, seeking the child foretold to challenge evil itself.
This time, they think they’ve found her.
From blood-soaked biker rituals to high-tech surveillance and chilling political conspiracies, Moonlight Cruise is a pulse-pounding fusion of mystery, horror, and spiritual warfare. As mother and child sail unknowingly into danger, a final confrontation looms—one that pits divine innocence against demonic power.
Will the forces of darkness succeed in snuffing out a miracle? Or will faith, love, and the power of an extraordinary child rewrite destiny itself?
If you loved The Omen, The Da Vinci Code, or Carrie, then Moonlight Cruise is your next must-read.

The Next Leap Into the Universe
Posted by Literary Titan

Those Alien Skies follows three gripping stories that explore the uneasy bonds between humans and aliens as flawed, desperate people search for truth, redemption, and meaning across the vast unknown. For readers new to the Milijun universe, what do you hope they take away from Those Alien Skies as their first entry point?
As the scope of the Milijun books developed, I grew to love the characters [human, alien, and robotic] decorating their pages. ‘Those Alien Skies’ is a cosmic extension of their escapades and a substantial broadening of their horizons; the next leap into the universe, if you like.
For readers new to the Milijun universe, I hope they can closely relate to the various personalities, the situations they face, and the world-building of their universal surrounds. After finishing this book, I hope they remember the intimate reflections on survival and belonging. Hopefully those will linger long after the final page.
Humans are unique and wonderful creatures—but likely not the zenith of creation. We should remain open to sharing our life journeys and unafraid of what may seem paranormal or beyond our understanding. Where do we lie within the vast measure of creation? What is our relationship with the universe and what lies within it?
Elias Weber’s moral unraveling is one of the most memorable parts of the collection. What inspired his internal struggle, and did you always know where his arc would end?
Elias Weber first came to the fore in ‘Alien Whispers: Conflict and Communion’, Milijun Book 3, where he was a strong leader of an aggressive Tellurian military group based on the moon. The Tellurians are a powerful world-wide organization with an archaic mandate for their home planet—no exploration beyond Earth’s atmosphere. They are also the sworn enemy of the breakaway ‘Alien Communication Enterprise’, known as ACE, a group that vehemently opposes the Tellurian creed. There is a warlike rift between the Tellurians and ACE.
Captured by ACE, and totally embittered, he endures a meaningless life on Mars. Resentment grows, and Elias needs to understand what has happened to the Tellurian cause on Earth, and why it appears to be waning.
His future is in his own hands. He can accept the ACE doctrine of universal exploration with the alien Rbuzen, or he can seek revenge fuelled by a wistful desire for days long gone.
Each novella balances awe-inspiring sci-fi concepts with deeply personal emotional beats. How do you decide which element leads a given scene?
There is no conscious decision making involved. The overall immediate plot comes first—something that can be described in a few sentences. From then on, it is the characters that create their own sub-plots and the flow of events: what they think, how they react with other people and their surrounds, how they overcome adversity, how they develop, how they succeed or fail.
The characters’ actions in given circumstances tell the story, and I just need to get inside their heads and make their reactions plausible. Quite often it is a balance between action and reaction – as are many of the things in our daily lives. Life is full of decisions – some of them minor, others critical to our future.
In a nutshell, I believe the plot is the foundation of the book, the characters are the stuff it’s made from.
The stories touch on belief, doubt, and the shaping of truth. What drew you to explore these themes in a futuristic setting?
I wonder at our universe, even though we are seemingly only a small part of it. Transitioning to interstellar space and coming across other lifeforms is just another mode of creative exploration that can become a wonderful backdrop to any story. How close would aliens be to ourselves? How different?
Ideas can come from everywhere and anywhere. Pondering the universe. Pondering religions. Checking out the human condition. Exploring possibilities. And quite often surfing thoughts on waking up in the morning.
From the Milijun Series there is a Terran translation of an Rbuzen idiom, well before the aliens’ discovered extra-dimensional space: ‘Like the worm in the soil, or the spider in the web, we know nothing of creation, save that of our immediate surrounds, for that is all we need to know in order to survive.’
I believe that well describes the human condition. Who knows what lies outside our visible spectrum?

✅ Few and Far Between is a story of a search born out of love, an otherworldly encounter, and a reminder that children are the future. The action takes place on Venture and a strange alien artificial planet. As always, nothing can be taken for granted.
✅ Battle Lines takes place on the alien planet Glieze, and illustrates the futility of war and the necessity of trust. It is a contest between World War and extinction or survival and faith in the future. Sometimes the way forward springs from the most unlikely source.
Each novella offers a glimpse into strange new worlds, where danger, wonder, and discovery go hand in hand.
Perfect for both longtime fans and newcomers who enjoy bold ideas and thought-provoking adventures, Those Alien Skies is a smart, suspenseful collection that challenges the limits of imagination and defies expectations.
It is a timely reminder that the universe still has secrets waiting to be found.
The perfect addition to your sci-fi library.

The World Is Craving Connection
Posted by Literary Titan

The Backyard Peace Project is a thought-provoking and inspirational anthology of real-life stories collected from individuals who turned their challenges into a journey of self-discovery, healing, growth, and purpose. Why was this an important book for you to write?
The Backyard Peace Project was born from a deep knowing that the world is craving connection, compassion, and realness. For years, I’ve witnessed people carry their pain in silence, high achievers, parents, leaders, community members, all doing their best while battling private storms. I’ve learned through my own journey that peace begins in our own backyard. It starts with one human being willing to tell the truth about their experience.
This book felt important because it gathers those truths. It gives people permission to be human. It shows that even in the darkest chapters, there is possibility, purpose, and a pathway forward. Creating a space where ordinary people could share extraordinary stories of resilience felt like a powerful antidote to the disconnection and overwhelm so many are struggling with today.
What were some ideas that were important for you to share in this book?
I wanted this anthology to highlight several core ideas:
• Your story matters, even if you think it doesn’t.
• Healing isn’t linear, and there is no “right way” to grow.
• We are stronger in community than we are on our own.
• Trauma can become purpose, not by denying the pain but by transforming it.
• Small acts of peace ripple outwards, changing families, workplaces, and communities.
At its heart, the book reinforces the message that every human being is capable of rewriting their inner narrative and becoming a force for good in their world. You don’t have to be perfect to create impact. You just have to be willing.
What was the biggest challenge you faced in putting together this collection of personal stories?
The biggest challenge was holding the emotional weight of so many deeply personal, often painful stories. Each author entrusted me with chapters of their life that they had sometimes never said aloud before. My role was to honour their truth, protect their voice, and create a safe container for them to share vulnerably without feeling exposed.
Another challenge was weaving the stories together into a cohesive tapestry – ensuring each voice was celebrated individually while still contributing to a collective message of hope, resilience, and peace. It required delicate balance, sensitivity, and immense respect for every contributor.
What is one thing that you hope readers take away from The Backyard Peace Project?
I hope readers walk away knowing, deep in their bones, that they are not alone. That their struggles do not diminish them. That peace is not something they have to find “out there” — it is something they can cultivate within themselves, moment by moment.
If even one reader feels seen, held, or inspired to take the next step in their healing or leadership journey, then this project has done exactly what it was meant to do. I hope that every person who turns these pages feels more empowered, more connected, and more hopeful than when they began.

Educating and Empowering
Posted by Literary Titan
Mending Minds is a compassionate blend of memoir and science that explores how trauma transforms the brain and how understanding that transformation can lead us toward healing and resilience. Why was this an important book for you to write?
I wrote Mending Minds to share my research into mental illnesses with others. Anxiety, depression, and PTSD cause much pain, shame, and despair. Educating and empowering those experiencing these complex and debilitating conditions will, I hope, give them hope that life can be wonderful. Hope often seems impossible with these conditions. I want to tell people that they can heal.
Besides helping others, I also found the writing process therapeutic, the research enlightening, and the challenges of creating a book helped me realise that I am not a flawed or weak person; I was sick. Realising this allowed me to forgive myself for thinking I was less than.
You write about the frustration of being dismissed by the medical system. What changes do you hope to see in how professionals treat psychological trauma?
The most important change I would like to see is doctors screening young children for Adverse Childhood Experiences and then educating parents on how negative influences in children’s lives shape the health of little brains. Educating parents is crucial for addressing intergenerational trauma and thereby minimising the number of children who develop mental illnesses.
I would also like to see further education for police officers and our judicial system regarding coercive control within families. Coercive control is insidious, cruel, and deeply damaging for victims. Addressing, as opposed to minimising, the impacts of psychological manipulation, gaslighting, and controlling behaviour is vital to promote healing and will lessen the short- and long-term effects on families.
Recognising that mental illnesses have a biological basis helps lessen the stigma attached to these conditions. Hopefully, healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, and therapists will challenge the misconception that they are less serious than physical illnesses and that they are issues people should simply ‘get over’.
How did you balance scientific accuracy with emotional accessibility for general readers?
As a retired nurse, I have extensive experience in explaining complex medical information in simple terms. Emotional accessibility came easily to me. Having lived with mental illnesses for decades, I know exactly how they feel and could write quite freely about them.
I love research and learning, though I found some of the more scientific information difficult to understand. I would frequently read journals and textbook chapters with both a medical and a science dictionary at hand to ensure I provided accurate information in my book. Hence, my book took 6 years to write.
If readers take away one message from Mending Minds, what do you hope it is?
You are not mad. Delicate structures deep in your brain have been damaged by psychological trauma, but our amazing brains can heal. Don’t lose hope.

Confidence Transformation
Posted by Literary-Titan

Girl Game: Balls Out is a blend of memoir, psychology, and empowerment, and is a call for women to reclaim their power, stop people-pleasing, and rise unapologetically into their full selves. Why was this an important book for you to write?
In love, I was always had an anxious attachment style, and I genuinely felt like something was medically wrong with me. My insecurities always got the best of me, and I grew up without any confidence or self-esteem. Rejection was my middle name. I was unlucky in love. I had to get to the bottom of this, so I spent 5 years intensively studying attachment theory and childhood emotional neglect, and boy, did my findings revolutionize my life as I know it. That research and my own confidence transformation were the catalyst and backbone of this work.
In Chapter Six, “The Fight of Your Life,” you write about internal battles. How do you personally recognize when you’re in one?
By how I am feeling. All internal states are attached to a feeling, and all feelings are trying to tell us something vital about ourselves.
What do you hope women take away from your message when they’re standing at their own
breaking point?
That they heal “balls out” style. Many people sit in a therapist’s office for years and take medication for decades hoping to numb the pain, but they never really heal HEAD ON. I encourage radical healing through awareness and consciousness, and that requires a full-blown, balls-out exploration of the shadow, or what I call an emotional exorcism, in this book.
You mix faith, psychology, and empowerment in a unique way. How do those three forces coexist in your own healing process?
I am a spiritual person. I do blend faith, spirituality, psychology, and empowerment because of my background in all 3. I refuse to take pills. I don’t go to therapy (but I am a huge fan of it) – I champion healing by facing problems head-on and feeling them fully until healed.

With over 100 years of research behind it in human psychology, emotion, healing, attachment and relationships, self-worth and identity, this book provides profound insights concerning the realities that shape our existence when we struggle with low self-esteem. Since our subconscious accepts all suggestions as facts, we are met with demons we didn’t create who plague us as mirrors impacting our closest relationships while making rejection become the norm. This happens because of generational trauma passed down from ancestors and the general negativity felt and experienced in the external world. By embracing self-worth from within, the book emphasizes the transformative power it holds in reshaping personal connections and attracting genuine affection. The text prompts introspection on questions of rejection, societal constraints, and the impact of insecurity on personal growth and fulfillment. Encouraging a shift from seeking external validation to embracing inner worth, GIRL GAME: BALLS OUT advocates for empowerment and taking control of one’s narrative. By fostering self-belief and authenticity, individuals can transcend self-doubt, radiate confidence, and magnetize positive interactions.
You can either overcome or come undone… the POWER is yours.
Are you hiding behind that pretty face…

An Ever-Opening Poem
Posted by Literary-Titan

In A Wave Without a Shore, you explore both science and soul through the introspective poetry in this second installment of the Entangled Universes Trilogy. What was the biggest challenge you faced in putting together this poetry collection?
Honestly, my writing flows unlike anything I have ever experienced. Since August 2019, I have written 2500 poems, so the challenge is mapping ~200 of them to the eleven chapters in a way that helps elevate the poetry to a “shore our galaxy will only pass by” in our future.
How do you approach writing about deeply personal or emotional topics?
With ease. I am an INFJ personality type with introverted intuition and deep empathy. These topics are like an ocean that I never leave.
How has writing this poetry trilogy changed you as a writer, or what are you learning about yourself through writing it?
My writing has absolutely evolved since I began writing poetry at the start of the global pandemic. It’s almost like six years ago, I had just stepped into this realm, completely unaware of what I was experiencing. I never studied writing poetry; instead I only read poets (Whitman, Hesse, Rimbaud, Hemingway, Milton, Dickerson, Homer, Keats).
I’ve learned that the universe is an ever-opening poem in which our lives are immersed and entangled, almost like the words we use to express it.
Can you give us a glimpse inside the final installment of the Entangled Universes Trilogy? Where will it take readers?
We were born inside a star. Everything that makes up our experience within this universe came from our mother sun, Sol. Here’s an example of how my poetry will resonate in Tides of Light:
The Fragile Silence of Becoming Our Real
We trade light in a dance we were born to make
Your words find mine almost as if they know us
When we met eons past each poem was a song
I’ll know you again, sweet when we’ll sing them.
Flush with our demurs love asks how to be now
When we decide our fates even time plays along
Fragile silences frame thoughts as if we’re alone
When you’re lost remember that light we shared.
I’ve ventured on lonely highlands in search of us
Komorebi shadows taste like a kiss only you gift
Guardian angels perfect our course through time
When you’re ready to dance love, hold my eyes?
