Foretold in the Scriptures
Posted by Literary-Titan
The Manifestation of Evil follows a young girl whose seemingly ordinary life in Ankara slowly unravels under the weight of sinister visions, haunting figures, and a destiny tied to forces beyond her understanding. What was the inspiration for the setup of your story?
The inspiration for the setup for my story would have to be Genesis 3:15 in the Bible, where it says how God will put an enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel, and that verse was actually prophetic because it deals with the messiah, Jesus Christ, and the spiritual war. In my fictional book, I wanted Asya, a young Turkish girl who lives a normal life, to be visited by celestial beings to herald the birth of her firstborn child, who will change the world and her status as a chosen vessel. But she will be unaware of the type of celestial beings talking to her and the implications of what is being said to her. Just like the Virgin Mary in the Bible, who comes from a religious background, I wanted Asya to come from a religious background as well. Asya has no idea that the child she will give birth to is the antichrist, which was foretold in the scriptures.
What were some of the trials that you felt were important to highlight Asya’s development?
When it came to Asya’s development in the book, Asya went through betrayal and sexual abuse from a family relative, which was an awful thing, and that shaped her life to a certain extent, where she became an overachiever. Now, in my fictional book, I wanted to explore the background of the key players and characters in my book, especially their upbringing and events that will shape their lives, like the Russian president, Igor Alexander, who is an ultra nationalist and has a very dangerous antisemitic ideology.
What were some themes that were important for you to explore in this book?
The purpose of this fictional series is to make people aware of the times we are living in and to think about eternity because, truth be told, we live in a messed-up world. All you have to do is turn your TV on, and you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, and earthquakes in diverse places. People are losing their minds, and there is economic instability, uncertainty, and inflation. It does not take a scholar or a genius to know something is off with this world we live in, and it is full of evil.
Is this the first book in the series? If so, when is the next book coming out, and what can your fans expect in the next story?
The Birth of the Antichrist: The Manifestation of Evil, Part 1 is part of a series. The second book, His Arrival, will be out in January of 2026. This first book deals with all the events and circumstances that will lead to the birth of the antichrist, the man of sin.

Connecting the Dots
Posted by Literary-Titan

Girl, Groomed is a raw and unflinching memoir that traces your childhood experiences of grooming and abuse at a horse stable, and the long, painful process of understanding how that past shaped your adult life and relationships. Why was this an important book for you to write?
I wanted to offer what I have learned personally and professionally about the importance of lining up with and healing from past trauma. I chose to use my own story to encourage readers that it is only through walking directly into the painful places that we can heal ourselves.
What were some ideas that were important for you to share in this book?
The path towards reclaiming our lives is through an understanding of how trauma continues to impact ourselves and others. This shows up in many forms, but through an awareness of this, we gain the agency to decrease our reactivity and defensiveness that are constricting byproducts. This, in turn, gives us more choice and liberation over our lives going forward.
What was the most challenging part of writing your memoir, and what was the most rewarding?
Writing my memoir required me to delve back into memories that I had disconnected from. The process of re-experiencing what I had fractured off was both painful and healing. After all, we can only heal from what we can accurately name. Connecting the dots of my life helped me integrate and reclaim my story.
What do you hope is one thing readers take away from your story?
One takeaway is that trauma informs our lives, but it doesn’t define who we are or who we are becoming.

Raw and riveting, Girl, Groomed is seasoned psychotherapist Carol Odell’s evolving story of deepening her understanding of how the crisis she blindly imposes on her marriage is rooted in her own history of sexual abuse and violence at the hands of a predatory horse trainer who, for far too much of her young life, held all the reins. Chapters toggle back and forth between scenes of her childhood growing up jumping horses on the show circuit in Virginia and the therapy sessions she later undergoes as an adult sitting in “the other chair.”
Using her own journey, Carol demonstrates in this insightful memoir how unintegrated trauma limits us and our connection with others—and how the work of uncovering and reintegrating “what we do with what happens to us” can become the very source of our liberation.

Resilience and Mystery
Posted by Literary-Titan
Seeking Yesterday unfolds as both a personal quest and a sweeping historical account, blending memoir, genealogy, and local history into a seamless narrative. Why was this an important book for you to write?
The drive to understand our roots is a primal human need, and this book began with my husband, Bob’s, quiet desire to reclaim his. After over 50 years of marriage, I knew he wouldn’t write an autobiography, so my initial mission was simple: to create a family scrapbook of a 7-day ancestral journey.
But what started as a small, personal commemoration grew into something far grander.
The deeper we delved, a passion ignited in me. The focus shifted from merely collecting facts to understanding how history shaped these lives. Relying on family recall left too many tantalizing questions:
Why did a WWI veteran choose to homestead in the unforgiving desert?
Where did they find the grit to persevere through the Great Depression and a second World War?
What were the final, crucial details of the WWII pilot shot down in action?
The untold answers transformed a simple family record into a fascinating tale of resilience and mystery. My ultimate decision was to write the book in Bob’s voice—to impersonate his perspective and make his silent story heard. While unique to one family, I believe the powerful quest for identity, the perseverance through hardship, and the secrets unearthed resonate with anyone seeking their own vital connection to the past.
What were some ideas that were important for you to share in this book?
Ancestry is more than a list of names; it is a profound journey of discovery. While we may feel our own lives fall short of “extraordinary,” the tales of our forebears often sound instantly intriguing. Why?
The answer lies in the dynamic and vital intersection of two forces: individual personality and historical context.
This book is dedicated to exploring that very synthesis: the idea that character is not innate, but forged in the fires of world events. The questions that propelled my research became the essential themes I needed to share:
What is the true cost of global conflict on a single family’s spirit?
What does real resilience look like when played out against the backdrop of the Great Depression?
How are the universal qualities of grit, love, and loss magnified when they intersect with military service, homesteading, or personal tragedy?
My goal is to show how the seemingly “ordinary” lives of these ancestors were, in fact, extraordinary products of their time, and to demonstrate that understanding their story is the key to understanding the enduring identity—and resilience—of the generations that followed.
How has writing your family’s memoir impacted or changed your life?
Writing this book—stepping into my husband’s character to pen his family’s memoir—did more than create a historical record; it fundamentally deepened my relationship with him.
After 53 years of marriage, Bob and I have always been “joined at the hip,” but this project provided an unprecedented path to understanding. By immersing myself in his ancestry, struggles, and triumphs, I gained a profound, intimate appreciation for the forces that shaped the man I love. It served to reinforce the already strong bonds, continuing the love affair by giving it a rich, historical dimension.
Beyond the personal growth, the book offers an unexpected, yet deeply humbling, value: the chance to resonate with and help others on their own quest for roots. The fact that my personal labor of love is being met with accolades and can serve as a catalyst for other families is a rewarding bonus that extends the book’s personal legacy.
What advice do you have for aspiring memoir writers?
Begin with familiar family stories and traditions, imagine how your ancestors may have lived, review world events as it was during their lives, research important milestones, and ask questions… many questions! The secret is in the answers.

A file of old documents, including a 1922 desert homestead land claim for 160 acres, copies of war commendations and World War II medals, a Purple Heart, and fading memories ignited Bob’s compelling quest to rediscover his roots. What prompted his grandparents to become homesteaders in the unforgiving desert? The deeper he looked, the broader a story unfolded as global and regional history interceded, shaping their lives and decisions. He discovers how a devastating World War II loss redefined the family, how another tragic accident cast its own long shadow on their lives, and how the true resilient spirit of “Grandma R” emerged through it all.
Told from Bob’s perspective, Seeking Yesterday is a testament to the enduring bonds of family, the profound impact of shared experiences, and a journey that reveals how yesterday’s echoes can illuminate today’s path and forge an unbreakable legacy for future generations.
More than a memoir, the book weaves a microcosm of American history by using one family’s experiences to illustrate broader events and social changes, including homesteading, WWI, the Great Depression, WWII, land development, community building, and the evolving American Dream. It is a tale that highlights the strength, resilience, perseverance, and adaptability of ordinary people in the face of extraordinary challenges.

Guardians of Felina: Rise of the Phantom
Posted by Literary Titan

Rise of the Phantom sweeps the reader into the land of Felina, a world of Guardians chosen by prophecy, magic, and responsibility. At its heart are Alada and Tierra, divine feline protectors, who cross paths with Birch, a mortal Meu, as they warn villages of the Phantom’s threat. The book brims with battles, supernatural beasts, playful humor, and quiet moments of longing. Sofia builds a lush world of glowing forests, sacred prophecies, and mysterious enemies that feel both mythical and immediate.
What I liked most was the emotional texture beneath the adventure. Alada’s solitude, her aching need for connection, felt raw and real to me. I also loved the contrast with Tierra’s spirited energy and wacky humor, which often lightened otherwise heavy moments. At times, the banter felt almost too playful for the stakes, but I think that was the point, it reminded me how humor can be armor when facing despair. The writing style was easy to sink into. Sometimes the pacing slowed in long descriptive passages, yet I found myself appreciating the detail when I leaned into it.
The ideas, though, are what lingered. The story asks what it means to guard others while remaining unseen, how much one should intervene in the lives of those they protect, and how loneliness carves itself into even the strongest. I admired the way the book balanced spectacle with intimacy, giving as much weight to kittens begging for fish as to battles against glitching monsters. The villains intrigued me too. They’re shadowy, strange, almost playful in their cruelty. It made the danger unpredictable, and I liked that.
In the end, I closed the book feeling both satisfied and hungry for more. I’d recommend Guardians of Felina: Rise of the Phantom to readers who enjoy epic fantasy with a softer heart, fans of animal-centered worlds, and anyone who wants a mix of whimsy and darkness. It would be perfect for young adults who crave adventure, but older readers who remember the ache of loneliness and the balm of friendship will find just as much to hold onto here.

Their Bodacious Second Act is Waiting
Posted by Literary Titan

In Divorced at 50 F**K, Now What?, you share all of the heartbreak of a troubled childhood and a broken marriage and offer readers hope through your own resilience. Why was this an important book for you to write?
Because I felt so alone during these times, and maybe there were books out there for me, but I couldn’t find them easily. I wanted a book title that said exactly what I had been through, so it could be a support to others.
I appreciated the candid nature with which you told your story. What was the hardest thing for you to write about?
Probably the moment in the back seat of the wedding car. My mind was taken back to that exact moment. My hand was frozen on the door handle.
What is a common misconception you feel people have about coping with life after divorce?
That things will never be ok again, and that they will never find ’the one’.
What is one thing you hope readers take away from your experiences?
That their bodacious second act is waiting, and even if they spend their time alone, it is better than being with someone who doesn’t value or see you. That was my mindset. But lucky for me, I did find someone, and we are very happy.

The Great Hunter
Posted by Literary Titan

Kel Paisley’s The Great Hunter follows the life of Garetto, a young man living in Mesolithic Britain about 10,000 years ago, when hunter-gatherer tribes struggled to survive in harsh landscapes shaped by ice, wind, and rising seas. At its heart, the story is about love and loyalty. Garetto longs to wed Harenshi, a woman whose father not only disapproves of him but actively threatens their bond. What unfolds is a tapestry of tribal politics, sacred rituals, dangerous hunts, and the daily fight for food and honor. The novel blends historical imagination with intimate storytelling, letting the reader step into a time when survival and tradition dictated nearly everything.
The writing is vivid, almost cinematic, and the world feels tactile. But at times, the descriptions ran long. The dialogue, though, had a sharp edge. It carried both warmth and menace, and I often felt the tension of being in a camp where every look and every word could spell danger. I liked that it didn’t sugarcoat the violence of the time or the rawness of relationships. It made the book feel honest, though also heavy.
What struck me most was how much of the book pulsed with longing. Garetto’s love for Harenshi is desperate, almost reckless, and it pulled me in. I felt for him, even when he acted out of pride or anger, because his emotions rang true. The book made me think about how love, fear, and family ties have always shaped human lives, no matter the era. Still, I’ll admit there were moments when I wanted less ritual detail and more forward momentum, but the ideas always kept me hooked. The mix of survival and spirit, blood and devotion, felt raw and human.
This is not a light read. It’s immersive, dense, and full of grit. I would recommend The Great Hunter to readers who enjoy historical fiction that leans into the primal side of human nature. If you want an adventure that is full of danger and love, and you’re seeking a story showing a clash between tradition and desire, this book is for you.

Why Everyone Was Suffering
Posted by Literary Titan

Why Are You Sick? Introduces listeners and readers to your Ultimate Health Model™, a framework that connects cellular health with lifestyle factors like breathing, sleep, water, food, movement, environment, and even thoughts and feelings. Why was this an important book for you to write?
It was important because not only did I lose family members and friends to chronic disease, I wanted to really understand why everyone was suffering with health problems.
How did you develop your Ultimate Health Model™, and what sets it apart from other guides on how to improve your health?
Years and years of research, sifting through and reading hundreds of articles and slowly putting the pieces together. When I found that chronic inflammation might contribute to mitochondrial dysfunction I cross referenced it hundreds of times. I did the same for all the circles until I came up with the cellular framework happening in background. Then I added the the lifestyle factors that contribute to chronic disease or optimal health. Our guide is different because its all inclusive. Its a roadmap a ten year old could follow. Engage in as many on green side as possible and as few on red side its that simple.
What were some ideas that were important for you to share in this book?
Nonmainstream topics were important for me to share. Factors like structured water, grounding and sunlight which are rarely discussed are more important than diet which is talked about insenantly.
What is one thing that you hope readers take away from the audiobook?
I hope readers and listeners will understand their health better. My model gives them agency to take control of their health instead of being at the mercy of the medical establishment. Plus our audiobook finally makes health fun, entertaining, engaging and immersive.

Walk With Me
Posted by Literary Titan

Walk With Me follows the story of Nelson “Pappy” Thompson, a former park ranger, and his grandson Skyler, as they build a bond through hikes, camping trips, and the shared magic of the outdoors. At its heart, it’s a generational tale about passing down knowledge, love, and courage, framed by vivid memories of trails, rivers, and mountain skies. Their adventures are often simple on the surface, pitching a tent, cooking over a fire, naming stars, but they carry deep lessons about trust, resilience, and the ties that hold families together.
Reading it, I found myself smiling one moment and swallowing hard the next. It feels like someone sitting across the table, telling you about their family. Sometimes the dialogue made me laugh, especially when Skyler misunderstood his Pappy’s phrases, and sometimes I felt a sting in my chest, especially when the bond between the old man and boy shone through. I’ll admit, there were spots where the pacing slowed and the descriptions got a bit detailed, but even then, I didn’t mind. It just felt like Pappy lingering on the trail, not in a rush to get home.
What struck me most was the emotion packed into the quiet moments. The way Pappy teaches through stories instead of lectures reminded me of my own grandparents. It’s gentle wisdom, not forced. The author manages to make simple scenes, like finding sea glass on the beach or learning to ration water, carry weight. I also enjoyed the occasional sketch-like illustrations scattered through the book. They were simple yet charming, and they breathed life into certain scenes.
I’d recommend Walk With Me to readers who value heart and who enjoy stories about family, the outdoors, and the lessons we hand down through generations. It’s perfect for parents, grandparents, or anyone who has ever wanted to hold on to a memory of time spent together in nature. It’s a book that made me laugh, sigh, and think.
