Challenges, And Personal Healing
Posted by Literary Titan

Take It To The House is a personal development book that guides readers through the steps of rebuilding their relationship, told through the eyes of a couple forced to face difficult truths about their own relationship. Why was this an important book for you to write?
Take It To The House was important for me to write because I believe many people are struggling in their relationships, not because they don’t care about one another, but because they don’t have the tools to navigate pressure, conflict, disappointment, and unmet expectations in a healthy way.
As someone who has experienced childhood trauma, loss, grief, infertility, marriage challenges, and personal healing, I understand how easy it is for unaddressed pain to show up in our relationships. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that hurt people often hurt people, even when they love the people they’re hurting.
I wrote this book to help readers understand that healthy relationships are built intentionally. They require honesty, accountability, communication, regulation, and consistency. My hope is that readers recognize that while they cannot change another person, they can choose how they show up, respond, and contribute to the relationship they want to build.
What was the most challenging emotional scene to write between Jordan and Marcus?
The most challenging scenes to write were the moments when Jordan and Marcus were forced to confront the truth about themselves rather than focus on each other’s shortcomings.
Many couples become experts at identifying what their partner needs to change while avoiding the difficult work of looking inward. Writing those scenes required vulnerability because they reflect a reality many of us experience in our own relationships.
The emotional weight wasn’t in the conflict itself. It was in the realization that healing often begins when we stop asking, “How did we get here?” and start asking, “What role have I played in keeping us here?” Those moments of accountability can be uncomfortable, but they are often where transformation begins.
How did you develop The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System, and how much of it comes from your own coaching or personal experiences?
The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System™ was born from both personal experience and professional observation.
Over the years, people have often asked me how I remained resilient through childhood abuse, infertility, pregnancy loss, the loss of my son Braylen, professional challenges, and other difficult seasons of life. After spending years in therapy, personal development, and intentional healing work, I began identifying the disciplines that consistently helped me move forward.
At the same time, through coaching, leadership development, and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, I noticed a common pattern: most people know what they should do. The challenge is doing it when pressure enters the conversation.
That realization led to one of the foundational principles of my work: knowledge determines what we know, but regulation determines what we do.
The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System™ combines those lessons into a practical framework designed to help people recognize their impulses, regulate their responses, and act with greater intention. While the framework is rooted in my own experiences, it has been shaped and strengthened through years of observing how people think, communicate, lead, and respond under pressure.
What would you like readers to remember long after they’ve finished the final page?
More than anything, I want readers to remember that relationships rarely improve by accident.
Lasting change happens when we become intentional about how we communicate, listen, respond, and how we show up for the people we love.
I hope readers walk away understanding that every relationship will experience pressure, conflict, and disappointment. The goal isn’t perfection but learning how to navigate those moments without allowing them to define the relationship.
If readers remember one thing, I hope it’s this:
You cannot always control what happens around you, but you can control how you respond to it. Often, the quality of our relationships is shaped by those responses.

but the way we respond within it?

Because the truth is:
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
But intentional choices can rebuild what was broken.
As they navigate blended family dynamics, workplace pressure, emotional triggers, and the weight of unspoken truths, they are introduced to a powerful framework:
The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System™
A practical, real-life approach to:
• Recognizing emotional triggers
• Regulating internal responses
• Responding with intention
This isn’t just a story about infidelity.
It’s a story about:
• Accountability
• Boundaries
• Communication
• Growth
And ultimately… the decision to rebuild—on purpose.
Whether you’re navigating conflict, seeking deeper connection, or committed to personal growth, this book offers both the awareness and the tools to respond differently when it matters most.
Because the strongest relationships aren’t the ones that never break…they’re the ones that learn how to rebuild—with clarity, intention, and consistency in truth.

Take It To The House: Rebuilding Relationships with Clarity, Intention, & Consistency in Truth
Posted by Literary Titan

Take It to the House, by Shae Pratcher, is a relationship-centered personal development book told through the story of Jordan and Marcus, a couple forced to face the truth after one message changes the shape of their future: “I didn’t know he was engaged. I’m so sorry.” From there, the book becomes more than a story about betrayal. It’s a guided look at what happens when two people stop reacting long enough to see what’s actually happening between them.
Pratcher uses Jordan and Marcus’s relationship as the emotional center of the book, but the structure is built around the C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System. Each section moves the couple through a different part of rebuilding, from clarity and listening to boundaries, integrity, focus, and yielding control. The coaching scenes with Coach Avery give the book its practical backbone, while the “in motion” chapters show what those lessons look like in everyday conversations, tense moments, and small choices at home.
What makes the book easy to connect with is its directness. Pratcher doesn’t dress up the work of rebuilding as something soft or simple. She shows how messy it can feel to pause, listen, tell the truth, and choose differently when old patterns are right there waiting. The repeated idea to “Recognize. Regulate. Respond with intention” becomes more than a phrase. It becomes the rhythm of the book and the lens through which Jordan and Marcus begin to understand themselves and each other.
The conversational style gives the book a steady, reflective pace. It often reads like a story, a coaching session, and a journal prompt all working together. Readers who like relationship books with clear takeaways will likely appreciate how each chapter connects emotional moments to usable practices. The book isn’t just asking readers to watch Jordan and Marcus rebuild. It’s asking them to notice where they react, where they assume, where they avoid, and where they might choose something more intentional.
Take It to the House is ultimately a book about building a relationship with clarity, consistency, and truth. Its strength is in showing that repair doesn’t happen in one dramatic breakthrough. It happens in repeated choices, honest conversations, and the willingness to keep showing up with more awareness than before. Pratcher gives readers a story they can follow and a framework they can actually use, which makes the book feel personal, practical, and grounded in real relational work.

The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System
Posted by Literary Titan
Workplaces aren’t broken.
But the way we respond inside them often is.
Official 5-Star Rated by Readers’ Favorite.
Praised as “a cohesive system” for addressing miscommunication, misalignment, and burnout, The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System™ is recognized for its practical, real-world application in leadership and workplace culture.
Miscommunication, burnout, and reactive decision-making don’t come from a lack of effort, they come from unclear thinking under pressure. In fast-paced environments, productivity suffers not because people aren’t capable, but because clarity, alignment, and intention are lost in the rush to perform.
The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System™ is a practical mindset framework designed to help individuals, leaders, and organizations pause, regulate, and respond with intention rather than reaction. Built around seven core principles — Clarity, Listen, Adjust, Reset, Integrity, Focus, and Yield — this system offers a structured approach to navigating complexity, strengthening communication, and restoring trust.
Rather than asking people to work harder, this framework helps teams work clearer and perform stronger. By removing friction, improving decision-making, and addressing the root causes of misalignment, The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System supports sustainable performance without sacrificing well-being.
Inside this book, you’ll learn how to:
- Recognize when pressure is driving reactive behavior
- Pause and reset before decisions escalate into dysfunction
- Strengthen communication without blame or defensiveness
- Release outdated habits that quietly undermine performance
- Lead yourself — and others — with clarity, focus, and integrity
Each principle is grounded in real-world application, making this book both reflective and practical. Readers are guided to reassess patterns, shift perspective, and apply the framework immediately in their work and leadership environments.
Designed for professionals across industries, The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System™ serves as a resource for:
- Leaders navigating complexity and change
- Teams seeking alignment and healthier dynamics
- Individuals ready to respond with intention instead of reaction
This is not a quick fix.
It’s a mindset shift — one that turns pressure into precision, and effort into meaningful progress.

The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System: A Mindset Framework for Healing the Workplace & Elevating Productivity
Posted by Literary Titan

The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System is a workplace mindset book that tries to turn inner steadiness into outer effectiveness. Shae Pratcher structures it around seven linked practices, from Clarity and Listen through Adjust, Reset, Integrity, Focus, and Yield, and threads those ideas through an ongoing workplace narrative involving Jordan and Alex, two figures navigating lateness, strained check-ins, missed deadlines, brittle trust, scattered priorities, and finally the release of old habits and needless process. What I found most central is the book’s insistence that productivity usually breaks down before the spreadsheet ever shows it, in the small psychic moments where urgency outruns thought, fear distorts listening, or teams keep carrying procedures that no longer deserve the weight placed on them.
The book is not cynical about work, which is rarer than it should be, but it isn’t naively cheerful either. Pratcher keeps returning to the idea that a bad moment doesn’t have to become a bad day, and that struck me as both simple and honestly earned. I liked the recurring “Mindset Moments” for that reason. They give the book a human pulse. The sections on Reset and Integrity landed especially well for me. The image of Alex realizing that the words were technically right but the impact still felt diminishing is a sharp, recognizable truth about modern workplace speech, where people can hide behind intent and call it leadership. And the focus chapter, with Jordan feeling busy but not effective, names a particular kind of contemporary exhaustion with painful accuracy. I didn’t feel preached at there. I felt seen.
The book is earnest, polished, and structured well. Pratcher has a gift for compression. Lines like the notion that reaction feels efficient while reset is effective, or that focus removes waste rather than work, have the clean snap of phrases shaped to be remembered. The aviation frame and the lesson architecture give the book momentum, and the repeated Jordan and Alex scenario helps keep the ideas from floating off into abstraction. I admired the clarity of thought. The book doesn’t merely say “be better at work.” It argues, with consistency, that culture is built through ordinary responses, that boundaries are part of care rather than a retreat from it, and that yielding outdated beliefs or inherited processes may be the most mature move a team can make.
I found The C.L.A.R.I.F.Y. System thoughtful, sincere, and more grounded than a lot of workplace literature that talks endlessly about performance while barely acknowledging the emotional weather people are working inside. What it offers is a calm, usable vocabulary for people who are tired of chaos masquerading as professionalism. I’d recommend it most to managers, HR leaders, team leads, and individual contributors who are capable and conscientious but feel worn down by reactive cultures, fuzzy expectations, or the low-grade fatigue of carrying too much for too long. In the end, I came away feeling that the book’s greatest strength is its steady belief that clearer thinking can make work not just more productive, but more humane.

#Heal4Real
Posted by Literary_Titan

Highway to Healing is a personal memoir that recounts your journey through childhood trauma and loss, revealing how faith and therapy guided you toward healing and self-discovery. Why was this an important book for you to write?
It was important for me to write this book to continue to heal and help people who have experienced trauma in various aspects of their lives to change the narrative in how we navigate through it. People need to know they are not alone and what can be done to take the necessary steps to #Heal4Real so they can be whole and walk in their truth authentically.
How did writing this memoir affect your own healing process?
The effect writing this book had on my own healing process was very profound. It began as me just wanting to journal my way through my therapy sessions so I could reflect back at a later time in my life. However, in the process of doing this I felt a strong urge that confirmed it was going to be more than that. Although, I didn’t know what that would entail reading back over it then and even now it continues to push me forward in my choice to protect my peace on purpose. It serves as a reminder that I made it through to the other side and to maintain the level of peace and joy I have now, I must be intentional about continuing to make choices that align with that decision.
What do you hope readers take away from your story, especially those who may be facing similar challenges?
My hope is that others are encouraged, empowered and inspired to dedicate their time to commit to true healing by doing the necessary work. I want people to really self reflect as they read my book to identify what “work” is necessary for them to do in order for them to #Heal4Real so they too can be the best version of themselves for not only their loved ones but always for themselves because they deserve that! Truth is there’s a real importance and impact that is made when we are intentional about unpacking the different traumas so that we #Heal4Real.
Secondly, I hope they understand that true healing requires us to confront the uncomfortable things and/or people that contributed to the pain and trauma. This allows us to properly deal with it and put it away so we learn how to better deal with our triggers instead of them dealing with us.
How has your journey and the process of writing this memoir changed your perspective on life and relationships?
My perspective on life and relationships has been forever changed through eye opening experiences I encountered while on my own highway to healing journey. I learned so much about myself when I made the choice and that’s been a pivotal factor in my healing and how I see and deal with people now. I learned that I was looking at the world and all the people in it through trauma lens pre therapy. However, all that changed slowly but surely every session that I made the decision to show up for ME. Fast forward and post therapy I understand myself better than I ever had in my entire life. I look at circumstances differently and choose to allow people to be who they want to be in my life versus who I expect them to be and govern myself accordingly. I find that I’m happier and less stressed and frustrated with this approach. I learned that no matter how much we want things to be a certain way or people to behave we can’t change it or them. We can want better for others but they must not only want it for themselves but also be willing to work for it. So, with this in mind, I focus on ME and what’s within my scope to grow and be the best version of myself because that’s what I have the power to change and impact the world in a powerful way.

While our journeys may not be exact, you may resonate with mine, and vice versa. It’s important to understand that we can all learn something from each other, no matter the difference in age, gender, or any of that other stuff we put labels on. Be willing to bet on YOU, the HEALED YOU! I’m not talking about the “half healed” version of yourself where you confront what’s comfort- able to circumvent what’s conducive. True healing requires commitment. You owe it to yourself. Too often we sacrifice ourselves, including our happiness, peace of mind, and joy, without ever being intentional about pouring back into our own cups.

In her deeply moving memoir, author Shae Pratcher navigates a journey marked by intense emotional landscapes, beginning with early childhood trauma inflicted by a trusted family figure. This narrative is further complicated by the heart-wrenching loss of a child, events that collectively shape her life’s trajectory. The author candidly shares how her steadfast faith played a pivotal role in weathering these storms, illustrating how spiritual guidance and listening to divine direction became her compass in seeking healing from her deep-seated traumas.
Pratcher’s memoir is remarkable in its exploration of the healing process, delving into the author’s year-long therapeutic journey. Her eloquent portrayal of this experience resonates deeply, offering a message of hope and resilience. It underscores the idea that even in moments of perceived helplessness and despair, there lies an innate strength within us, a capacity for direction and self-recovery that often surpasses our expectations.
Throughout the book, the author confronts various personal challenges, demonstrating a commitment to self-care and healing. Her decision to openly acknowledge and address the sources of her pain and discomfort is both courageous and inspiring. This process not only aids in her own healing but also reshapes her identity for her family, revealing her authentic self – a testament to the beautiful creation she believes herself to be through her faith.
This book, while challenging to read due to its heavy emotional themes, imparts a powerful message about accountability and change. It echoes the author’s belief that desiring change is one thing, but actively making choices that align with that desire is another. Her journey, as narrated in this memoir, is a compelling testament to the power of faith, therapy, and inner strength in overcoming life’s most daunting challenges.

The Highway to Healing is a representation of life’s journey. A journey filled with experiences that encompass steep curves, wide, narrow, short and long pathways through beautiful scenic terrain. Yet and still, the highway has its hazards. Hidden shallow and deep potholes are common here. Adverse weather conditions may delay and/or reroute you. Rest stops along the way provide you with the time to reflect on past obstacles, new challenges, and future destinations. Being fueled by faith, courage, and strength will lead you to your destination of true healing.
