Self-Publish & Succeed: The No Boring Books Way to Writing a Non-Fiction Book that Sells
Posted by Literary Titan
Self-Publish & Succeed provides detailed step by step instructions, along with motivational anecdotes, that will help aspiring nonfiction writers understand everything they need to write and publish a book. I was amazed at how defined all the steps were and how it literally takes you from ideation, to publishing, to promoting and selling. Author Julie Broad has provided authors with an informative authorship guidebook that provides easy to understand advice and actionable information with proven techniques that she has used for her books and other authors at Book Launchers.
Each chapter covers a new topic and each topic is like a brick in the road to self-publishing a nonfiction book, from start to finish. With an easy and conversational tone readers are provided with plenty of anecdotes from the authors life and experiences that help set the right expectations and puts readers in the right frame of mind to absorb the information that is about to come. What I liked about this book the most was that it provided detailed instructions on how to specifically put into action the advice provided in the book. This is a nonfiction book about writing a nonfiction book. I say this because, along with all the tips in the book, you get to see the lessons put into action within this book. From the hook, to chapter titles, and down to starting a chapter by grabbing the reader’s attention. All of this helps to understand the points being made and provides great examples of how to execute it. This is like having a full publishing seminar all in one book. Where the information is too dense, the author provides links and resources for continued learning outside the book.
The title of chapter one is, “The Life Changing Book”. This is can be a life changing book for any aspiring nonfiction author that is struggling to get started, has no idea where to even begin, or anyone that has the desire but needs a roadmap. Self-Publish & Succeed delivers specific guidance and encouragement all in a friendly tone and easy to follow process.

Turn Words Into Wealth
Posted by Literary Titan
Turn Words Into Wealth is a great book for any reader that wants to start their journey in entrepreneurship or expand the business that they are already running. The author gives actionable tips and pointers on how to be a successful entrepreneur, how to make money and relate with your clients. Every topic in the book is relevant, enlightening and explained in an easy to understand manner.
A great element about Aurora Winter’s writing is how diverse her topics are. The author writes with the intent of helping the reader learn how to make money, but she does not stop there. Aurora Winter goes further and talks about building relationships and paying attention to the people that we interact with. Not every energy that comes your way is good, she writes. Choose your partners carefully and know who you can be vulnerable with as there is vulnerability in business. The topic on building one’s brand was one of my favorites. Aurora uses many examples, including the Oprah story and discusses with the reader how you can build your empire from scratch. A brand is a story, she says. I enjoyed the discussion throughout this chapter as every example and solution the author gave was practical.
Even as an experienced entrepreneur and media trainer, Aurora knows that not everything can work. She writes about finding your spotlight and understanding your purpose. I appreciated how encouraging the tone of the book was. When talking about challenges she and other entrepreneurs have faced, the author makes the reader feel like they are not alone. Her ability to make everyone feel like they belong and they can be successful is fantastic. Aurora Winter knows how to convince one to stand up, dust themselves off and keep going. She is a great storyteller and gives great analogies when explaining a particular topic and provides real life experiences when presenting her theories.. The author is articulate in her explanations and gives real-world answers.
Turn Words Into Wealth has the potential to change you and your business. I recommend the book to all readers that have a millionaire mindset and every hardworking individual that is working to achieve their goals but needs some coaching to guide their upward momentum.

The Million Dollar Rebuttal and Stratospheric Lead Generation Secrets: Cold Calling is NOT a Numbers Game!
Posted by Literary Titan
David Walter will make you a great salesperson, help you strategize, and get every reader to think about setting up an empire just by cold calling. The art of cold calling is known by many, but not every entrepreneur knows how to go about it. Cold calling is described as the technique in which a salesperson contacts their target market, even before the target market express interest in the products and services they are offering. Cold-calling takes bravery. One has to be bold in this form of telemarketing. The author’s writing will give one confidence to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey. By the end of the book, the reader gets to understand why cold calling works and why it is one of the best marketing strategies that one can choose.
David Walter is an experienced salesman, and in his book he also talks about his life, his disappointments, successes and lessons learned through his journey. One of the best things about book is that the solutions given are practical. The author talks about a problem, and offers a solution right after explaining the problem. His way of thinking is ingenious and one can tell that through the experience he has, David Walter is a great marketing and financial adviser. This book will help you invest in the right places. Every topic the author touches on, whether it is starting from scratch, coming up with an idea, looking for money or clients, feels vetted and approachable. The author knows how to convince even non-business minded people to try entrepreneurship. Another great element about David Walter’s writing is how raw and honest he is. The author will tell you if an idea is not workable and will even share personal experiences that show where he took the wrong steps and how he corrected that.
The Million Dollar Rebuttal and Stratospheric Lead Generation Secrets is a book for any individual that has a millionaire mindset. By sharing actionable business tips, the author helps readers grow and gain knowledge in different entrepreneurial fronts. Cold calling as the main topic was one of my favorite. The author offers long term solutions for problems that many business minded people struggle with. The major lesson in the book is to start no matter the situation.
With minimal jargon and straight talk, David Walter knows how to get the reader’s attention. The Million Dollar Rebuttal and Stratospheric Lead Generation Secrets will provide you with sales techniques that will ensure you’re successful, not by volume, but by an expertly crafted plan and skillset.

The Entrepreneurial Guide: The Key Principles of Building and Growing Your Business
Posted by Literary Titan
There are many ways a business venture can go wrong. Starting a business of your own requires much more than an idea and a dream to make it happen. Without thorough plans and the drive to follow through with each and every step, a business is bound for failure. Setting out to head up a successful business requires an entire set of steps many of us may never realize. From making sure you have a product that is both desirable and marketable to ensuring you have room for your business to grow and thrive, there is a lot to consider.
The Entrepreneurial Guide: The Key Principles of Building and Growing Your Business, by Dr. Srikanth Gaddam, is a concise handbook that brings together all the tips and reminders any entrepreneur would need. Gaddam answers every possible question one could have when initializing the steps to start a business. The author has gone to great lengths to address the specifics of planning, maintaining motivation, and examining risks. While all of the ins and and outs of starting a business can seem overwhelming, Gaddam has managed to make the steps readable, easily digestible, and tremendously helpful.
I appreciated the overall tone of Gaddam’s book–it’s a wonderfully positive one. Cover to cover, the author breaks down otherwise difficult concepts into segments readers can easily grasp. In addition, the focus on the entrepreneur and his/her role is a significant one. Gaddam succeeds in building up the budding business owner’s self-esteem and, possibly, stands as his/her first cheerleader.
One of the most important and powerful aspects of Gaddam’s writing is the emphasis placed on aligning one’s vision with others involved in the venture to create a truly successful business. I have seen many small businesses go under due to differences between stakeholders–there were just too many minds moving in too many different directions. Gaddam not only emphasizes the importance of a shared vision, he also provides readers with specific instructions and advice on how to do so.
The Entrepreneurial Guide: The Key Principles of Building and Growing Your Business is a succinct but powerful guide to building a business and realizing dreams. This book will serve as an important resource for anyone researching ways to build a profitable business from the ground up. I highly recommend this read to anyone still sitting on an idea, wondering if they have what it takes to make it.

Mompreneur
Posted by Literary Titan
Mompreneur: Running a family while being a boss by Tanisha Jamison is a enlightening business guide to help women successfully care for a family and own a business without neglecting one or the other. The author is a mother of four and a small business owner of a childcare center. The intention of this book is to inspire other mompreneurs by offering helpful suggestions and ideas that will improve the work-life balance. Topics covered in this book include how to avoid procrastination and self-sabotage, alleviating stress, gaining positive self esteem, being resilient, treating work as a business not a hobby, and finding a proper balance between work and your children/marriage without feeling guilty.
Tanisha Jamison has provided quite a bit of useful information to help the reader to simplify and improve their busy lives. Although a large amount of the advice given is aimed specifically at working mothers who have a strong support system of family, there were many things mentioned that could be applied to anyone, not just working moms, such as good time management tips, stress relief suggestions, and tips for keeping a clean house. I liked that the author asked questions to help readers use some of the principles in the book in their own lives. As I was reading the book, there were many times where I found myself thinking of how the information provided could help me to reach a better work-life balance. There were a lot of facts and statistics given and various studies mentioned, however, I would have liked to see proper references and footnotes for readers who might like to investigate these topics further.
Mompreneur is an empowering, engaging and educational book that I highly recommend to mothers, but the information in the book can be used by anyone who wants to find a balance between work and life that will ensure they succeed in both areas.

Solid Ground: A Foundation for Winning in Work and in Life
Posted by Literary Titan

T.W. Lewis speaks to everyone in his book Solid Ground; the elderly, young, those who have just started their careers, entrepreneurs, people that want to settle and have families, and many more. Reading Solid Ground: A Foundation For Winning In Work and In Life should be a routine for everyone who wants to change the direction their life is taking as the author has sound advice for everyone. I loved it when T.W. Lewis used his favorite phrases to get his message across. The words he uses enables the reader to connect with the author and the advice he was giving.
The author starts the book by talking about his personal journey. Part one of the book was one of my favorites because T.W. Lewis revealed things about his life that not many people know about. Despite being successful, the author lets us know that he too has had a fair share of challenges during different times in his life. It is encouraging to see a man of T.W. Lewis’ caliber open himself to the world. Personal stories and his individual experiences taught me that with hope, faith, and hard work, everything is achievable.
Solid Ground is divided into five parts. Each part has distinct topics that talk about various life experiences. Apart from the first part where the author talked about his journey, I also enjoyed reading parts three and four which talked about reaching one’s potential and life’s greatest achievements respectively. The two parts spoke to me on a more intimate level as the author made me realize that I can do more for myself. I appreciate T.W. Lewis and his advice as he makes you feel like he is your virtual life coach. His words are gentle and affirming, which is a great element in his writing as he makes the reading experience comfortable. T.W. Lewis makes an excellent counselor not just for students in school, but also for adults who may feel overwhelmed with life’s burdens.
In Solid Ground you will learn about making major decisions, living with people, appreciating what life offers, and aiming higher than the sky. I recommend this book to anyone who feels stuck and has no one to talk to. T.W. Lewis not only offers advice but also cheers the reader up with anecdotes and funny tales in between his narration. The book is perfectly balanced and one can tell when the author is serious about the discussions and when he wants the reader to enjoy some light moments. This is an inspirational personal development book that encourages you to do great things.

Patterns Are Inevitable. Growth Is Optional
Posted by Literary Titan

Four Patterns of Healthy People helps readers build better behaviors in order to reach their full potential in both life and business. Why was this an important book for you to write?
Seeing people grow beyond unhealthy patterns has been the most rewarding part of my career. As a leadership speaker and coach, it’s clear to me that everyone gets into patterns of thinking or behaving because of their family influences or as a way of adapting to their life circumstances. Every day, those ways of thinking and behaving get repeated until one day they are often no longer helpful. Whether it’s a new relationship, a job, a new phase of life, or a trial we’re facing, we realize our old ways of thinking and behaving don’t serve us well. At that point, we can either self-confront and grow, or remain stuck. That’s why I thought this book was important to write – to help people and organizations thrive by identifying and improving patterns that need to change.
What do you feel is a common misconception people have about success in life?
People often associate success with gratification or comfort. The truth is, success is more about joy, meaning, and purpose. And those things come from doing hard things – like working hard, enduring suffering, having difficult conversations, and thinking critically. This never ends in life. Those who stop growing and doing hard things may achieve a level of pleasure but miss out on true joy, meaning, and purpose.
What is one thing you hope readers take away from your book?
Patterns are inevitable. Growth is optional. Growth requires the ability and willingness to self-confront patterns in how you think, relate to others, view yourself, and operate your life. That’s painful work but it leads to the greatest joy and impact.
Do you have plans to write more books on this topic?
Yes, my next book will likely be related to influencing others to grow in positive ways.

Your most powerful work is overcoming the mistakes, flaws, and wounds you have internalized throughout your life. Are you ready to harness that?
Recurring themes of conflict, cognition, addiction, time allocation, and situational responses become patterns that affect your decisions, both positively and negatively.
Once you are aware of these recurring patterns, you can use them to place emphasis on the positive impact and minimize the negative.
Understanding these patterns is step one to becoming a healthier version of yourself.
Do you believe that you can change patterns in how you think and relate to others to have a more fulfilling life?
You can.
In 2002, Matt Norman suffered from debilitating panic attacks that sidelined him from business meetings, making it difficult for him to interact with others. Once he learned to recognize the patterns that were causing his anxiety, Matt was able to overcome it. Now, he is a leader in the industry that mentors others on how to do the same.
You have a choice.
You can stay stuck in the same recurring patterns or you can identify and confront those patterns in an effort to grow.
Your brain will remind you of trauma and past experiences to keep you in the same pattern of survival, “Be careful, you got hurt last time!”
It makes you resist change because it might be risky! As a result, you remain in fixed patterns that can limit productivity and be downright debilitating.
This is the brain’s natural reaction, but that does not mean you have to be locked into this limiting behavior. You can create new connections in your brain that encourage new thoughts and actions.
Don’t you think it’s time for you to grow and lead a more fulfilling life?
You’re the reason Matt wrote this book. His passion is to show you how to recognize recurring negative patterns that are holding you back and help you embrace the growth that will carry you to new heights!
Matt Norman is President & CEO of Norman & Associates. Through Norman & Associates, he helps people think and work together more effectively. Matt’s coaching has helped Fortune 100 corporations, non-profits, and entrepreneurs change the way they engage with their employees and clients.
If you’re ready to begin identifying the recurring patterns that are holding you back, confront them, and advance to a healthier and more fulfilling life, then you’re in the right place.
