INVISIBLE FORCES: Recognizing The Weapons Of Our Enemy and How To Resist Them
Posted by Literary Titan

Do you really know who the devil is? In Invisible Forces, James Rondinone sets out to unveil the devil’s true identity and significance. The book delves into biblical passages, weaving together stories from both past and present. Its goal? To enlighten Christians and shield them from the devil’s deceptions. Expect a range of fascinating tales: the rise and fall of Lance Armstrong and the saga of Elizabeth Holmes. But James goes beyond Earth’s history, investigates where the devil was originally created, and explores his divine purpose. Through these insightful pages, readers will grasp why the anointed Cherub fell, learn how Christians can combat the devil’s weapons, and absorb other valuable biblical teachings.
Middle Ages insights in a book about the devil just scratch the surface of the book’s diverse and captivating topics. It’s intriguing to discover that, until the Middle Ages, the goat had little association with demonology. The book is a treasure trove of rich information from various sources, such as Jeffrey Burton Russell’s The Devil: Perceptions of Evil from Antiquity to Primitive Christianity. It explores several biblical passages. The author analyzes the words in certain verses to shed new light on their messages. As James explores the concept of the devil, he shares his personal perspectives. This allows readers to see how the messages influence his thoughts. All of this makes for an immersive experience. I appreciated that the chapters are titled as questions. Throughout the book, numerous queries are posed and answered. It feels interactive and engaging.
Invisible Forces offers profound, logical, and educational resources that help readers understand the devil’s workings and enable them to evade his traps. It provides messages for drawing closer to God and succeeding in the heavenly race.

The Search for God
Posted by Literary-Titan

In Death of a Blue Jay, a man is forced to face his inner demons as he learns to embrace life’s nuances and rediscovers his own faith. What was the inspiration for the setup of your story?
The inspiration for my story was based on a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. My friend and I were not cognizant of the time on one hike and we found ourselves trying to hike back after sunset in the darkness. This experience helped me understand how life is hard and we all have a “dark path” to follow to reconcile past traumas or mistakes. The issue is it is hard to face this reality so most people tend to mask their obligations and distract themselves with comfort. Along the process, there is humility involved and a reliance on a higher power above ourselves.
Did you plan the tone and direction of the novel before writing, or did it come out organically as you were writing?
I planned the very beginning and ending of the novel before writing and also established the main themes throughout the novel. I started writing the book with the scene from the very middle of the novel and organically the tone and direction developed as I was writing from the beginning to the end.
What were some themes that were important for you to explore in this book?
Some themes that were important for me to explore in this book were mortality, morality, and the search for God.
What is one thing you hope readers take away from Jeremy’s story?
Charity is an essential call for all of us in life and we must be realistic with our mental health and reconcile any past traumas before giving joy to others because otherwise we are left confused, stuck, and selfish!

In D’Souza’s “Death of a Blue Jay“, Jeremy Martin goes through a supernatural experience of ups and downs and understands that there is value even when we fall because there will be new lessons gained for future use of wisdom.
In the fictional world of ROB-RAH-RATS, Jeremy is forced to face his unconscious mind, where his deepest secrets are revealed; and where he must face his inner demons and build virtue to ultimately return to the real world and fulfill a final act of charity. D’Souza shares contemplation and the allegory of certain objects to give the reader a new perspective on the value of living by eyes of faith rather than simply by eyes of sight.

Universal Salvation and Personal Enlightenment
Posted by Literary-Titan

The Secret Religion is a compelling and educational exploration of the evolution of religion in Western societies, focusing on the enigmatic esoteric tradition of Christianity known as Gnosticism. Why was this an important book for you to write?
In my first book, The Obelisk and the Cross, I asked three existential questions; where did we come from? Why are we here? What happens when we die? Unfortunately, I found no clear answers evidenced in any of the western spiritual traditions. But I did discover an underlying theme that permeated (and still permeates) beneath all faith traditions – the choice between universal salvation and personal enlightenment.
How much research did you undertake for this book and how much time did it take to put it all together?
The book is the culmination of over 15 years of theoretic and field research.
What is one thing that you hope readers take away from The Secret Religion?
What we believe and how we act on those beliefs are two of the most important and personal choices each of us makes in the journey of our lived existence. If we strip away the supernatural aspects of the Christ myth and disregard the institutional constructions that arose after him, all that remains is a story of someone born in poverty and raised in obscurity, who dedicated his life to being a voice for the oppressed and abused. His works and words give people the hope of something better, something more than mere servitude and survival. Jesus rebelled against organised religious sects and political structures and gave hope to the hopeless so that the struggles of life are not in vain. This is the tangible legacy given to us by the ‘Jesus of history’. If seen through this perspective, the story of the human Jesus is part of a greater narrative that puts the individual at the centre of all things.

The Gnostics were brutally persecuted and their ideas were suppressed. But their teachings were powerful enough to linger on in the collective unconscious of succeeding generations and to re-emerge in the most unexpected places. From symbols on the American one-dollar bill to the ideals of the 1960s counterculture, from heavy metal music to 21st-century technological innovations, various facets of Gnostic thought continue to offer us a way to interpret the meaning of our lives. As Sunderland traces the battle between the orthodox and heretical traditions of Christianity, his thorough research and ability to make counterintuitive connections reveal to us a struggle that continues to rage beneath the surface of contemporary life.

INVISIBLE FORCES
Posted by Literary Titan
How many consider the Devil to be a made-up fictitious character? If this is how he’s perceived, then we, Christians, will be unaware of the schemes and tricks that he uses to inhibit our walk with God and destroy our testimony.
However, if you at times have wondered whether he does exist, then this book will unveil to you who he was before he rebelled against God, what he looks like, the physical characteristics, supernatural abilities, and purposes of the supernatural creatures that support him, and why he wages war against believers.

You Are SO Loved: Unfailing, Faithful Love
Posted by Literary Titan

You Are SO Loved, by Natalie James, is a beautifully written and illustrated children’s book that gently reminds readers of God’s unconditional love surrounding them. Through tender words and vibrant illustrations, the book delivers a heartfelt message of God’s love, belonging, and self-worth, making it a perfect read for young children who need reassurance and comfort. The book emphasizes the importance of feeling loved by God and encourages readers to embrace their unique qualities and the love that exists in their lives.
One of the standout features of James’ story is the simplicity and warmth of the writing. Natalie James has a way of conveying deep emotions in a way that is accessible and soothing for children. The repetition of the phrase “Do you know how much God loves you?” throughout the book reinforces the central message and makes it stick with the reader long after the book is closed. This repetitive structure, combined with the gentle tone, creates a comforting rhythm that feels almost like a lullaby. The illustrations are another highlight of the book.
Each page is filled with bright, cheerful colors that capture the attention of young readers and complement the text beautifully. The imagery is simple yet powerful, featuring diverse characters and scenes that reflect the universal nature of the book’s message. The combination of soft, flowing lines and vibrant hues helps to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that draws readers in and makes them feel safe and loved.
Another aspect of the book that I particularly appreciated is its emphasis on not only loving God but to love everyone. This is an important concept for children to learn early on, and the book does an excellent job of conveying this message.
You Are SO Loved is a tender and reassuring book that would be a wonderful addition to any child’s library. Its simple yet profound message, combined with its beautiful illustrations, makes it a perfect choice for bedtime reading or for any time a child needs a little extra comfort and reassurance. I would recommend this book to parents who are looking for a way to remind children of the love that surrounds them and the importance of self-love.

Blending Music, Art, and Faith

The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith is a poignant adaptation that blends Joe Guadagno’s lyrical poetry and scriptural passages with stunning illustrations, retelling the parable of redemption and forgiveness for both young and old readers. Why was this an important book for you and your husband to publish?
Producing Christian children’s books has been a long-standing aspiration of mine, but finding the right entry point into the genre was a challenge. Then, an idea given to me from above came all at once, providing incredible inspiration. I could hardly sleep that night, so eager was I to begin this new project.
My husband, Joe Guadagno, led a Christian band called JGnFriends where I contributed with keyboards and vocals. Over the years, Joe composed many beautiful original songs that conveyed parables and inspirational biblical messages resulting in two CDs of heartfelt music.
In my recent moment of inspiration, it became clear that while Joe’s music is available on major streaming platforms, his reflective lyrics could also be shared in a different way—through a book that families, starting with young children, could enjoy together. This led to the creation of The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith, a picture book that combines Joe’s lyrics with stunning watercolor-style illustrations to retell the parable of redemption and forgiveness.
The book offers a unique experience by integrating QR codes that allow readers to listen to the accompanying music while they read. “The Prodigal Son” is one of Joe’s most cherished and popular songs, making it the perfect choice for the first installment of our “Illustrated Lyrics of Faith” series. This project is important to me because it merges my faith and my passion for children’s literature with Joe’s musical legacy, creating a rich, multi-sensory experience that fosters discussion and can be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
The positive feedback from our live audiences and listeners on streaming channels plus the beautiful review from Literary Titan Book Reviews have been heartening. In today’s world, where we often face challenges and uncertainties, “The Prodigal Son” serves as a poignant reminder of the power of God’s love and forgiveness, showing that He is always waiting for us, ready to help and welcome us with open arms.
Can you share more about the creative process behind the watercolor-style illustrations and how they complement the narrative?
Creating the illustrations for The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith was a collaborative journey. We spent countless hours searching for the perfect style and imagery to complement each part of the song and communicate its message deeply. Each illustration was thoughtfully crafted to enhance the accompanying lyrics and evoke the emotional depth of the story. Our aim was to create a visual experience that truly resonates with readers and enriches their engagement with the music.
How did the collaboration between you and Joe Guadagno influence the final version of the book, especially regarding the integration of his song?
The collaboration between us profoundly shaped the final version of The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith. Every element of the book was meticulously crafted to enhance the lyrics and convey the story’s emotional depth. The discovery that QR codes could be included and make the music newly accessible to many was an awe-inspiring moment for us. Additionally, including the actual scripture of the parable at the end of the text provides context and encourages further discussion.
Bringing Joe’s music to life in this new way was deeply moving for us both. Translating his song into book form allowed us to explore and express its message through both text and illustrations. The final images often moved us to tears as they resonated with the lyrics, guiding us to ensure the book was both emotionally impactful and true to the song’s spirit. We hope this unique product brings joy, meaningful discussions, and the message of God to many.
This project has been a significant experience for us and has inspired us to continue this journey together. We look forward to adapting more of Joe’s songs into new books for our series, creating additional opportunities to share our passion for God’s truth and Word with readers.
As this is the first book in a series, can you give us a glimpse into what other biblical stories or themes you plan to explore in future installments?
Absolutely! We have an exciting lineup planned and can’t wait to share it with our readers. Future installments will explore a variety of biblical stories and themes through Joe’s music and beautiful lyrics. Upcoming entries will include the book of Jonah, the story of a woman healed by Jesus, and Jesus calming the storm. We’ll also delve into songs of invitation and inspiration, the wisdom of the Father, and the heartfelt prayers Christian parents have for their children, and more.
Each book will follow the same format, featuring captivating illustrations and providing access to Joe’s words, music, and the related scriptures for your family’s enjoyment. We’re eager to continue this journey and bring more of these timeless Bible truths to others through our series.

THE SECRET RELIGION: Unveiling Hidden Beliefs and Ancient Mysteries in Christianity
Posted by Literary Titan

The Secret Religion by Tony Sunderland is a compelling and educational exploration of the evolution of religion in Western societies, focusing on the enigmatic esoteric tradition of Christianity known as Gnosticism. Sunderland skillfully contrasts this hidden tradition with the beliefs of traditional orthodox Christians, particularly in their understanding of the origins of their faith and the cosmos. The book invites readers to journey back to the city of Nicaea in 325 CE, where the council of senior church bishops, under the influence of Emperor Constantine, negotiated a uniform conception of Jesus Christ and his relationship with God. Sunderland’s narrative extends beyond historical analysis. He delves into the influence of Gnostic thought in various forms of art, including music and movies, revealing how secretive gnosis has permeated popular culture. Additionally, he explores the intersection of gnosis and technology, offering insights into what the future may hold for humanity.
The Secret Religion is a richly detailed account that will captivate intellectually curious readers. Sunderland provides access to a wealth of quotes and references, including works by notable figures like the controversial academic and author John Allegro, one of the first to link ancient Gnostics to the counterculture movements of the 1960s and 1970s. The book also covers significant historical events, such as the discovery of the Nag Hammadi library in 1945, which sparked a renewed interest in Gnostic practices and ways of experiencing the divine. The book challenges preconceived notions about Christianity’s uniformity throughout history, revealing surprising insights—such as the idea that a medieval pope might condemn the majority of today’s Christians. Sunderland often adopts a detached, objective tone, allowing readers to draw their own conclusions from the evidence and sources he presents. His voice becomes more pronounced towards the book’s conclusion, where he emphasizes the importance of integrating a personal quest for individual enlightenment into one’s spiritual journey.
The Secret Religion is a thought-provoking and eye-opening read for anyone interested in the history of Christianity and the influence of secret religious groups in shaping media and culture. This book offers a fresh perspective on the world and the future, leaving a lasting impact on its readers.

The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith
Posted by Literary Titan

“The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith” is a beautiful and evocative adaptation of the biblical parable. The book intertwines lyrical poetry with scriptural passages to retell the timeless story of redemption, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Accompanied by beautiful watercolor illustrations inspired by Joe Guadagno’s song, the narrative follows the younger son who, after squandering his inheritance, finds his way back to his father’s forgiving arms. This retelling not only breathes new life into an ancient story but also offers a fresh perspective that is accessible to both young and old readers.
From the beginning, the poetic cadence of the book captivated me. Guadagno and Victoria Winifred’s collaborative effort shines through in the rhythmic verses that convey the emotional journey of the prodigal son. The imagery of “calloused hands and a hardened heart” paints a vivid picture of the son’s initial state, making his eventual redemption all the more powerful. The authors’ choice to juxtapose modern, lyrical interpretations with direct biblical excerpts adds depth and resonance to the story, making it a moving experience for readers familiar with the parable and newcomers alike.
One of the standout features of this book is its ability to balance modern creativity with reverence for the original scripture. The lyrical sections are engaging and easy to read, making the story accessible to younger audiences without losing the message. The use of recurring motifs, such as the “candle in the window,” symbolizes hope and forgiveness, reinforcing the book’s central themes. Additionally, the integration of Guadagno’s song provides a multimedia dimension that invites readers to listen to the music that inspired the book and enhances the overall experience.
“The Prodigal Son: Illustrated Lyrics of Faith” is a heartfelt and inspiring book that successfully bridges the gap between ancient text and modern interpretation. This is the first book in a series and is an excellent read for families, Sunday school classes, and anyone interested in exploring biblical stories through a contemporary lens. Guadagno and Winifred have crafted a picture book that is both educational and emotionally resonant, making it a valuable addition to any Christian literature collection.
