On the other side: Memories of a past life

Adria Sanders’ On the Other Side: Memories of a Past Life presents an engaging exploration of the boundaries between a person’s current life and their past lives. The book delves into Adria’s lucid dreams, exploring reincarnation, and the intricacies of the human mind, offering readers a unique literary experience. Going back in time to early 20th-century Cuba, the narrative follows the life of Ana, affectionately known as Ani, a young girl of mixed heritage. The book begins with an evocative scene of Ani, aged five, on a sunlit porch overlooking a desolate beach, dressed in a striking red and white polka dot dress.

Sanders skilfully transports readers to Ana’s life circa 1919, where she meets a blond Englishman, Officer Richard Gunther, or Rico. The interwoven love story of Ani and Rico mirrors the author’s personal journey, seeking meaning and a profound connection with Rico through the lens of lucid dreams. The book encourages readers to immerse themselves in Sanders’ unconventional exploration, akin to engaging with a gripping film or novel. Sanders recounts transformative experiences, such as navigating new dimensions through lucid dreaming and astral travel from 2018 to 2019, which significantly reshaped her life as a dynamic businesswoman. This exploration of parallel lives between her present and past selves leads to poignant revelations of healing and self-discovery. On the Other Side invites reflection on the nature and implications of lucid dreaming. It raises questions about whether these experiences uncover profound truths or are mere figments of the imagination, stimulating ongoing discussions about human consciousness.

On the Other Side is a captivating book that delves into the world of metaphysical exploration. It offers a mesmerizing and thought-provoking journey into the realms of past life experiences, astral journeys, and regressive hypnosis. The author’s skillful storytelling and descriptive writing style transports the reader to extraordinary places and helps them envision these otherworldly experiences. If you are an open-minded reader seeking an engrossing and enlightening read, On the Other Side is the perfect book for you.

The Energy That Makes Up Everything

Alexx Shaw Author Interview

In The Soul Family, you explore the intricacies of relationships and how to navigate them while remaining true to oneself. What inspired you to write this book?

I’ve always known that the people that come into our lives are there to teach or show certain lessons. I saw the pattern with every person who entered my life. I saw the patterns in people around me and the stories they would tell me. Everyone has pain from childhood. Everyone has their own traumas and triggers and experiences. These are all valid, and they shape the Ego to react in certain ways, which makes us feel separate from everything. I have been in the philosophy and Eastern healing modality sector for a long period of time, but it wasn’t until I met my own Twin Flame and my entire perception of “reality” merged into this deep understanding and “knowing” of the universe as a whole with relation to me, that things shifted. I wanted other people who were possibly struggling with the same Ego versus Energy things to know they were not alone and they are understood. There’s a reason for all of this, though, in the end, the reason doesn’t even truly matter.

I found the topics explored in The Soul Family to be fascinating. Can you share a little about your research and writing process?

When you’re a Spiritual teacher, I think it’s important that you can speak to energy in a way that the Ego understands and can believe. Otherwise, it’s just blind faith. You hear these spiritual throw-around terms like “Twin Flame,” “Universal Consciousness,” “Karmic Relationships” and sometimes just roll your eyes at them. So my first step was to spend months upon months doing research on Quantum Physics, String Theory, and Quantum Mechanics. I wanted as much “proof” as I could give that we are truly all the same and everything is interconnected. After that, I took my years of studying Western Philosophy; Eastern Philosophy; meditation; energy healing; chakra healing; my own experiences and clair senses; and the stories I had been told by hundreds of people regarding their connections, and put together a type of roadmap. When you truly remember that you’re the universe manifested in physical form, everything is One, and therefore you are the creator, the Ego is able to submit more freely to whatever probes it in its
perceived reality.

What is one thing you hope to see readers take away from your book?

I honestly wrote this book and started my YouTube channel in the hopes of helping people navigate through their connections with others with the ability to understand why they feel such strong connections to some and why the Ego goes out of control during these interactions. I hope that readers can come away with a deeper understanding of themselves, the people in their lives, the “reason” for their Egoic hardships, and the energy that makes up everything. Because truly, we are all the same.

Can we expect to see more from you soon? What are you currently working on?

I currently have a YouTube channel where I teach about Soul Family relationships every week. Book-wise, I am currently in the planning process of two: one delving deeper into the lessons we may come across and are presented with, explaining how they may appear and how to see them more quickly so we can get through them faster. The second is on Ego in general and learning to change our perspective on anything that may seem painful, whilst cultivating non-attachment to the dualistic attributes of everything.

Have you ever met someone that you just couldn’t get out of your head? Or immediately disliked someone for no apparent reason? Do you have a longtime friend that you have nothing in common with anymore, but you’re still holding onto the friendship? Or do you and your parents continuously fight, never seeing eye-to-eye? Though seemingly different at first glance, all of these people have something in common…they’re part of your Soul Family…and they’re in your life for a reason.

This book is about understanding energy by breaking down the Ego and seeing past perceived “reality.” It is about remembering who you are, not by who society dictates you to be, but rather your true nature. And it is about learning to see the lessons shown to you by every person playing a role in your life, navigating more easily through your connections, and remaining non-attached as you heal your traumas.
Whether you’re struggling with Karmic relationships, Soulmates, Soul Tribe members, or a Twin Flame, Alexx will help guide you through. Utilizing Quantum Physics, String Theory, biology, epigenetics, Samkhya philosophy, energetic healing modalities, astrology, and stories on each Soul Family member, you’ll gain a deep comprehension of what lessons you chose to learn in this incarnation, and how they’re being presented to you.

The Soul Family: A Guide to Karmic Relationships, Soulmates, Soul Tribes, and Twin Flames

The Soul Family, by Alexx Shaw, offers a compelling exploration into the intricacies of spirituality, presenting a blend of scientific concepts and spiritual teachings. Shaw delves into the microscopic foundations of human existence, drawing parallels between our physical composition and the nature of our interpersonal connections. The book serves as an enlightening guide for readers seeking to deepen their understanding of the ego and other spiritual aspects, with a particular focus on the Twin Flame dynamic. Shaw articulates the complexities of this concept, highlighting the intense pursuit of connection and the underlying desire for control often masked as patience.

Shaw’s work also sheds light on lesser-known spiritual terms, such as ‘false flames,’ and offers a clear explanation of various dimensional states, including the often-misunderstood 3D, 4D, and 5D realms. Her exploration into the fifth dimension is especially enlightening for those curious about this advanced state of consciousness. A key element of Shaw’s narrative is the concept of Core Karmic Lessons, which she attributes to familial influences from early human incarnations. She skillfully breaks down these lessons, which center on self-worth, self-love, and non-attachment, providing an in-depth discussion on each.

Additionally, Shaw introduces the reader to the holographic principle, suggesting the universe as an illusory construct. This revelation might require a second reading for full absorption and has the potential to shift one’s worldview significantly. The book also touches upon the Maharishi Effect, a concept that stimulates further thought and research. Shaw masterfully complements the scientific aspects of her book with engaging, relatable stories that effectively illuminate her points, enhancing the reader’s understanding and enjoyment. These narratives not only simplify complex ideas but also enhance the book’s accessibility.

The Soul Family is densely packed with information, making it a valuable resource for those interested in deepening their spiritual journey. Alexx Shaw’s work is recommended for readers eager to explore the realms of spirituality and consciousness.

We Control Our Reactions

Stephen Davis Author Interview

The Truman Show: It’s True, Man! builds off the iconic movie The Truman Show and guides readers on a thought-provoking journey into the universe and reality that we experience. Why was this an important book for you to write?

Because if the physics experts are correct and we are living in a hologram, many of our beliefs about how the Universe works need to be examined and revised accordingly. For example, most people spend a lot of time resisting and trying to change the experiences they encounter. But if we live in a hologram, by definition, those experiences are not created by us inside the hologram, but by someone or something OUTSIDE the hologram — and that’s not us, so we can’t create, change or control the experiences we have. The only thing we can create, change or control is our reaction or response to those experiences, not the experiences themselves. So, there is no point wasting time bitching and moaning about the lousy poker hand we were dealt; we should be focusing all our time and energy on how we want to play that hand instead. And that’s just one example of how living in a hologram requires us to adapt our lives accordingly.

Did you find anything in your research of this book that surprised you?

Absolutely! I’ve been researching quantum physics and the holographic universe for about 30 years, and the surprises started with what is called the Double Slit Experiment, first performed in a rudimentary fashion by Thomas Young in 1801. As a result of that experiment, and many more to follow over the years, we learned that what we have always thought of as solid matter actually exists in wave form until it’s observed and converted into a particle. That’s why, when you view a hologram from the outside, you can pass your hand through it as if nothing was there. But if you are inside the hologram (as we are in this universe), the hologram feels and acts very solid and real. (I do not go into the Double Slit Experiment specifically in The Truman Show: It’s True, Man! Book, because it is not necessary to understand The Truman Show movie.)

The other big surprise occurred while actually writing the book, and that was learning a new English word: Demiurge. It turns out Plato used this word way back in 360 B.C. in one of his dialogues called “Timaeus,” where the demiurge is presented as the creator of the universe rather than God. It made so much sense to me that a loving, caring, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God would not create the kind of world we see when we look around today at all the pain and suffering and broken systems. It makes more sense to me that a being lower on the chain of command like a Demiurge was responsible for creating this mess. (Most religions believe in a pyramid scheme in the heavens, with different angels and archangels and yazatas (in Zoroastrian heavens).)

What experience in your life has had the biggest impact on your writing?

Over 20 years ago I read and researched nearly 1500 medical and scientific papers and studies about HIV and AIDS and came away knowing, without any doubt, that HIV could not be the cause of AIDS. And that 300,000 young men — mostly homosexual — lost their lives because of the incorrect cause presented to the world at a press conference by a megalomaniac named Dr. Robert Gallo who wanted to win a Nobel Prize for discovering the cause of AIDS. But the world believed Gallo, resulting in a catastrophic epidemic that was totally unnecessary. (AIDS was actually caused by giving a highly toxic cancer drug called AZT as a “cure” to these 300,000 men along with the widespread use of “poppers” by the homosexual community.)

Now, why did this have such an impact on my writing? Two reasons: One, I discovered that there are beliefs we have all adopted that play a major role in determining our behavior that we should re-examine and decide for ourselves whether they are true or not. And two, I had to figure out how to take very difficult and complicated topics and put them into much simpler language for everyone to follow and understand. I then wrote 2 books about HIV and AIDS, and that also stood me in good stead when it came to writing about the holographic universe.

What is one thing that you hope readers take away from The Truman Show: It’s True, Man!?

To be prepared to make drastic changes in their beliefs, opinions, judgments and fears as we discover more and more about the universe we actually live in. Of course, if the physics experts turn out to be wrong and we do NOT live in a hologram, then in the words of Emily Litella on Saturday Night Live, “Nevermind!”

2023 is the 25th anniversary of the release of The Truman Show movie. If you haven’t seen the movie, starring Jim Carrey, go watch it NOW. It just might be the most important (and true!) movie ever produced.

Why? Well, there are well-known and very well-respected physicists who say that you and I are living in a holographic universe. In this book, Stephen Davis asks, “If they’re right, what difference does it make? Are we a lot more like Truman Burbank in the movie than we realize? Do we need to look more closely at the beliefs that dictate our day-to-day behavior?

The Truman Show: It’s True, Man! is a gripping, mind-bending journey that will have you questioning the reality you think you know. And, like Truman. can you break free from the confines of YOUR televised prison and follow him through that door in the sky?

The Truman Show: It’s True, Man!

The Truman Show: It’s True, Man!, by Stephen Davis, is a thought-provoking journey into the intricacies of our perceived reality, intertwined with the thematic backdrop of The Truman Show. This book elegantly melds quantum physics, neuroscience, and philosophy to challenge our conventional understanding of the world and our actions within it.

Drawing inspiration from renowned physicists such as David Bohm, Leonard Susskind, Amit Goswami, and Jacob D. Bekenstein, the narrative opens with a profound question: Are we living in a hologram? The author carefully constructs a foundation for this concept, suggesting that our reality is an illusion, much like the constructed world of Truman Burbank. By paralleling these theories with the cult classic film, Davis skillfully encourages readers to rethink their lives within the context of a carefully orchestrated stage.

At its core, the book articulates the idea that our perceptions shape our reality, leading to a powerful hypothesis that our brains project the world “out there” for us to experience. The parallels to The Truman Show are striking, as Truman’s actions are controlled and influenced by those observing him. Davis’s work invites readers to scrutinize the authenticity of their daily lives and confront the possibility of there being no “out there” at all. It challenges our perception of reality and the agency we have over our actions, raising intriguing questions about the extent to which external observers may be orchestrating our lives, much like Truman’s creators did in the movie.

Overall, The Truman Show: It’s True, Man! is an engaging book in which readers are asked to question some fundamental understandings of the world around us. This book blurs the line between reality and illusion and compels us to revisit our beliefs about the world, the nature of our actions, and the extent to which external influences may shape our lives. I highly recommend The Truman Show: It’s True, Man! for anyone who likes books that feel ‘trippy’ and make you think about the world around you.

Mind Candy

Your mind is a powerful tool that will either get you moving or have you stagnate in one position for a long time. How do you ensure that you take the right path in life and make weighty decisions? Does your general perspective of life influence your lifestyle? How does your subconscious mind control you, and what can you do about things you are not in command of? In Mind Candy: The Code to Program your subconscious Mind to Achieve Any Goal, Felicia Pizzonia takes the reader on a commanding journey of the subconscious mind. The author writes about mental wellness, setting and achieving goals, having a different view of things, embracing what is beneficial, and dealing with obstacles along the way; It all starts with your mind before anything else.

Even before getting to the main content, the reader is welcomed with an excellent foreword from Dr. John Demartini. This forward was crucial as it prepares the reader for the author’s discussion. From the foreword, my main lesson was self-discovery and self-love. I like that Dr. Demartini briefly wrote about the author and shared gems about living a rewarding life. The first chapter of the book felt like a continuation of the foreword. I appreciate Felicia Pizzonia for starting with an easy-to-digest topic; success. In this chapter, the author extensively writes about how to achieve success and be a winner in all you do. The points the author gives are realistic and level-headed.

Each of the topics Felicia Pizzonia wrote about was critical. From discussions about the conscious mind, receiving information, analyzing situations, changing one’s mindset, learning from experiences, setting goals, creating habits, taking care of your mind, body, and soul, and personal growth, among others, Felicia Pizzonia has advice on everything one needs for their well being and personal growth. One thing you are assured after reading this inspirational book is that you will expand your brain capacity and accomplish your goals within a set time.

I enjoyed Felicia Pizzonia’s writing and the phrases she used to enable the reader to comprehend the discussion. One of my favorite quotes from the book is, “Your purpose isn’t meant to be another’s, just as their purpose isn’t meant to be yours.” The laidback tone in the book, arrangement of the chapters, separation of the various topics, and the warm and friendly language used by Felicia Pizzonia is encouraging. As a reader, you get pleasure from reading the book as you take hold of the knowledge being shared.

Mind Candy: The Code to Program Your subconscious Mind to Achieve Any Goal is the perfect book for you if you want to change how you view life, explore a bit of the liberal side and learn about your conscious mind. This is a wonderful book for young adults who are thinking about college and career paths and older adults who want to improve their own lives and take control of their futures.

Love’s Story of Why We Are Here

Love's Story of Why We Are Here: And What We Can Do About It (Making Sense of It Book 3) by [O'Neill, Francis]

Why are we here? Where did we come from? Is there a bigger picture than the existence that we know? Is human life purposeful? Humans have contemplated the answer to these questions, and others that are similar, for much of our history. Here, author Francis O’Neill makes his own attempts to provide answers through a mixture of science, religion, the supernatural, and some ancient mythology. O’Neill’s theories lead to a definitive “yes, we are here for a reason”, but the journey to his conclusion is more interesting than the resolution itself.

In Love’s Story of Why We Are Here, O’Neill explores one of humanity’s most philosophical conundrums from a wide variety of angles. By his own admission, the theories that are proposed are speculative, and therefore untestable. For that reason, much of what he provides as answers can’t be considered true science. Many might argue that there is no science involved at all since much of the book focuses on the idea of a living Earth (not terribly far-fetched) and the importance of extraterrestrial life in human evolution. Despite the very unusual ideas that are discussed, O’Neill’s theories are presented in a well researched and organized manner, often including quotes from well known scientists in a plethora of fields. The professionalism of his work protects the subject matter from ridicule. The excessive use of commas throughout the book seems to imply a casual, conversational tone but instead creates long and circuitous sentences which often hide O’Neill’s intended meaning. I had to read many sentences multiple times, which interrupted the flow of the text and made it difficult to comprehend some of the concepts.

The theme of this book is simple- existence, purpose, and an explanation for both. Curiosity is a basic human trait that propels us forward and O’Neill uses that interest in the unknown to explore these ideas from a fresh standpoint. While some of what he discusses is not exactly new, he creates a fresh combination out of multiple theories that have been proposed in the past. It is also interesting that he uses both science and religion to support his theories, since those two schools of thought are typically contradictory.

There were parts that laid out simple rules for happiness and self-care, which everyone could stand to be reminded of. There was also a quick lesson on quantum theory that is thorough yet simplified, and incredibly interesting. Ultimately though, much of the book had a very new age and enigmatic feel. While this would be appealing to readers that are already interested in such subjects, it would likely make very few converts out of those that are not.
