If I Only Knew: Life Skills Not Taught In School
Posted by Literary Titan

If I Only Knew: Life Skills Not Taught In School is the kind of book you need as you lead your everyday life. Bailee Walker covers everything you need to know as an adult. The book is about the lessons that were not taught in the classroom. Reading this book will make you realize that life is not just in black and white. You get to understand why some things work while others do not. Bailee Walker takes you through the reality of life, making you realize that you might have been living in a fantasy world. I like how the author is brutal with the truth, but also gentle when offering solutions to life’s problems.
While reading this book, you get the sense of what the author is talking about without much struggle. You get to learn that the universe knows how to balance things and that everyone’s destiny is mostly determined by the path they take. This book has lessons on technology and computer literacy, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, decision making skills, basic human interaction, politics, the justice system, education, social media and everything else. Reading this enlightening book is similar to learning about a dozen subjects in one class. The subjects’ covered are in the hundreds, but they are all smartly organized. Bailee Walker divided the book into three sections, with each section having particular subjects for discussions.
I enjoyed reading this informative guide mostly because of how the topics were arranged. Bailee Walker included news pieces and stories in the book. The news that is covered is eerie, disturbing and interesting. Having the news items gives one the impression of following a story that has a life lesson at the end. Bailee Walker’s stories are easy to read because they are brief and well summarized. The author went above and beyond to look for tales that will make readers reflect on what society has become, and how the masses react to issues. This book is excellent reference material for people that are looking for inspiration as they face daily challenges in life.
I recommend If I Only Knew: Life Skills Not Taught In School to readers for straight to the point advice that’s given in simple language so that it is easily understood. The author used real life stories that people can connect with. Bailee Walker provides practical and actionable tips that will help readers navigate the muddy waters of life.

EPIC Begins With 1 Step Forward
Posted by Literary Titan

EPIC Begins With 1 Step Forward: How To Plan, Achieve, and Enjoy The Journey does not read like any average inspirational book. Author Zander Sprague uses relatable experiences to convey his message. This informative book will enable you to accomplish all your goals in the timeframe you want. The author shares moments in his life that gave him life-changing lessons. Sprague will make you rethink some of the decisions you have made over the years and get you to turn over a new leaf.
What I love most about this helpful book is that the author took the effort to explain how each solution he provides works. As a reader, you feel the presence of the author as he guides you on the right path. He provides many examples, obtained through research and personal experience, to explain why the steps are laid out the way they are.
Zander Sprague’s language is simple and easy to follow. Each chapter is broken down in a way that readers will be able to easily comprehend the information and can reflect on the topic. The author uses humor in parts to convey his message. The author shares his wisdom to help you remove the barriers that are stopping you from enjoying life.
The chapters on planning and achieving your dream were among the best for me. In these chapters, the author provides readers with a step-by-step guide detailing how they can achieve what they previously presumed to be impossible. He makes everything appear doable and straightforward, if one has a strategy. The overarching feeling of this inspirational book is positivity. I also enjoyed reading about ‘epic choices’ and capitalizing on one’s strengths.
EPIC Begins With 1 Step Forward: How To Plan, Achieve, and Enjoy The Journey is a comprehensive manual for hacking the most challenging things in life. This thought-provoking book will guide readers on their personal transformation journey.

I Wanted To Challenge The Narrative
Posted by Literary Titan

Your Next Big Idea: Improve Your Creativity and Problem-Solving takes readers through the mental process of turning their ideas into actions. Why was this an important book for you to write?
My inspiration came after noticing an omission in entrepreneurship education. When students learn about entrepreneurship, teachers refer to already successful companies, like Google or Apple, but rarely talk about how those founders developed and cultivated their ideas in the first place. This type of teaching does a disservice to students. It can lead to frustration as people ask questions like, “Why didn’t I think of that?” It can also lead to confusion and even damage a person’s creative confidence. Many who experience this omission wonder if they would ever be able to develop an innovative idea, permanently labeling themselves as “not creative.” I wanted to challenge the narrative around how we teach entrepreneurship by creating a nonfiction work that teaches readers how the top creatives and innovators develop ideas in the first place. I do this by taking a step back and examining the ideation process to serve as a foundation for entrepreneurial development.
As someone who grew up where language arts was my weakest subject, I wanted to challenge the typical design of a nonfiction book. I wondered whether a nonfiction book could be redesigned to be a better teaching tool for readers. Research from the University of Chicago, Boston University, and University of Texas show that experiential learning increases comprehension of a subject. While typical books use text and pictures to relay information, I realized that rethinking communication entirely would provide readers the best chance to learn and absorb information. Throughout the book, I included 54 exercises meant to take the reader on an experiential journey that helps them better reinforce and explore the information presented.
What is one piece of advice you wish someone had given you when you were younger?
The hardest part of accomplishing work is often getting the courage to get started. Once you form a routine it is like a slow-moving train that keeps inching closer and closer until you cross the finish line!
Also if you have a risky idea, try it now. Don’t wait. You never quite know where the idea will take you and you can always stop along the way.
What is one piece of advice someone gave you that changed your life?
It was, “Write about what you know.” If you feel like you have expertise about something, write about it. Putting out a published work in nonfiction will increase your credibility on the subject. This can ultimately lead to new career opportunities, new personal opportunities, and new connections.
What is the next book that you are working on and when will it be available?
I currently have a couple of ideas I am working on! None of them are quite final yet, but I hope to be able to put another creative work out there soon!

It’s Time to be Inspired inspires readers to live a better life. The author writes about life experiences, sharing situations that she has been though and how she overcame obstacles. I enjoyed reading Garcia Douglas’ thoughts and the advice she shared.
I felt connected to the author from the start of the book. The introduction part of the book was well written and gets one to familiarize oneself with the author a bit. I enjoyed reading about finding a way out and getting solutions. When Garcia Douglas talks about a problem, she gives the reader time to think and reflect, then offers possible solutions. I found this technique that she uses to be helpful as it made me improve my critical thinking skills. The author oozes wisdom with every new page and that is one of the many reasons why everyone should read this book. There is a variety of topics that the author talked about in depth. I enjoyed every subject covered and mostly loved the content she had about staying positive and living one’s dreams. Not many people get to live their dreams. Life can get to be complicated and thus deny things that they crave. Garcia Douglas however has a step by step guide that will enable you to enjoy the life that you have. As a reader, whether struggling or doing okay by yourself, Garcia Douglas has something for you. I applaud her for the warm words of encouragement and for writing about experiences that readers can resonate with. This book gives one a sense of positivity and fulfillment.
By the end of the reading, you get to appreciate life and swear to work harder and smarter. It is amazing how a book can change one’s perspective of life. The author gives lessons about personal relationships, career, family, personal growth, finances and better living. There are plenty of quotable lines in the book that one can live by. Garcia Douglas is full of warmth and prudence.

Anam Cara: Your Soul Friend and Bridge to Enlightenment and Creativity
Posted by Literary Titan
Humans are on a constant quest for self-actualization. We have a deep need to live in genuine serenity, to discover selves. People always seek to have full control of their mental faculties such that they can meditate without struggling too much.
Anam Cara: Your Soul Friend and Bridge to Enlightenment and Creativity will get one on the right path. To open the floodgates of creativity, one needs to have peace of mind and be free of emotional baggage. This audio book is a road map to using the soul friend to achieve these. The soul friend is a non-judgmental confidante who helps an individual live to their full God-given potential. The book urges the importance of the body in accessing the mind. The science of breathing is used as an example of how one can access their mind. By breathing properly, one relaxes and eventually accesses the deepest parts of their mind. The science of breathing is often used in meditation. One may argue that the soul friend would best be a therapist or religious leader but that defeats the purpose. The point of anam cara is candor and intimacy.
This book also guides the reader through the 42 confessions to the soul, these are essential in spiritual growth. Among the most important aspects of self-empowerment is selfless service. Glenville Ashby talks about being completely used up by the time of death. Giving oneself to the society with no expectations by doing the simplest of things like offering comfort to a troubled friend. Mr. Ashby also talks about thoughts creating reality. God would not punish his own creations by blessing some and leaving others in anguish. Humans are meant to create their own blessings through hard work. This is a very interesting point of view. It makes a lot of sense upon reflection. To further affirm his stand, Glenville talks about Hellen Keller and Stephen Hawking. Their outstanding positivity and contributions to the world are awe-inspiring. The author also introduces the master keys that unlock the portal to the soul. First on the list is gratitude. This is a testament to the adage; no man is an island. The responsibility to be genuinely grateful awakens a flame within humans.
Glenville Ashby has not written this book to malign other therapies but rather to give a counterproductive approach to enlightenment and creativity. The ideas in this book, supported by views from Buddhist principles and Christianity, will force readers to do a thorough audit of their lives. It calls for a shift in practice and thought. The book is well written and inspiring. It is a useful tool for one who seeks to put themselves on a path to true happiness and fulfillment. To live authentically and unencumbered by travelling back and experiencing the magic of humans’ true essence, the soul.
Quality of life is dependent on the choices one makes and the things they focus their energies on. Achieving self-actualization is a great place to start in seeking to live the best life possible. Anam Cara: Your Soul Friend and Bridge to Enlightenment and Creativity is a necessary audio book.
